I'm all for moving past the use of "that word". I wasn't aware it was not allowed until reading posts about it. If that's the rule here I can abide. Doesn't really matter compared to the issue we are watching unfold. IMO

Thing is, it does matter, truth matters. What we are seeing unfold is ANOTHER horror show, one that seems to be allowed to a point that I don't understand. There are words, and there are words, and sometimes there are some that just fit - at least the mayor and the gov thought so.

Thank you. That was my point. There are websites we cannot link, and as members, we follow the rules. Why the not-so-sneaky use of this word? Especially in light of the horror going on in Baltimore?

Maybe you can PM a mod about it.

And if you google that word plus Baltimore you can find plenty of media links to show it seems to be acceptable to them.

There is video of officers throwing rocks back at protestors.
I don't know if there is a link I can post it from, but it's on twitter and possibly youtube.
Protestors started throwing rocks, cops threw rocks back, protestors rushed the cops.

Here it is on youtube.

They are not PROTESTERS. Please stop calling the rioters protesters. The protest was peaceful and ended well before today.

Why is this behavior tolerated? So sick of this mob/****/criminal mentality being okay. Why are criminals rights more important than those who are following the law?

Who ever said criminals rights were more important than those following the law? Where are you getting that?

House(s) are on fire in East Baltimore, near where the big fire is. They said like 4 other fires near there.

Exactly. These people are NOT protesters. They are troublemakers.

What they are doing harms any peaceful discourse.

Do any of the persons 'in charge' have a clue?? I think not.

Ya, I feel the same.
Although, I did get a positive impression of the NG spokeswoman; even though she spoke briefly. She seemed capable, focused and to the point type of woman.

Ellie---in all due respect, you are quite understated in your above comments.
I'm watching various news stations & listening to LE threats coming in.....
The situation is dire & severe right now.
