The Baltimore riot of 1968 was composed of black Baltimoreans lasting from April 6 to April 14. The riot included crowds filling the streets, burning and looting local businesses, and confronting the police and national guard.

Rioters set more than 1,200 fires during the disturbance. Damage was estimated at over $12 million (equivalent to $77.5 million today)

Exactly. These people are NOT protesters. They are troublemakers.

What they are doing harms any peaceful discourse.

I think that they are more than mere "troublemakers", they are criminals.

Then how about "rioters" "miscreants" or "criminals"? The reason that other word is not allowed is because it is typically used to define criminals of a certain skin tone.

We have plenty of words to describe the actions here. We needn't use race-specific ones. Yes, I know the word was not originally used as such but contemporary usage is, indeed racist and I applaud WS for disallowing it.

Call me naive, but this post is honestly the first time I have ever heard or seen the word **** associated with skin color? Slang... Strange, because WS uses MSM, approved MSM. Now we can't use words as they are defined by a credible dictionary? becase of a change in meaning for a few by some rapper or other slang?

Channel 11 news said the bloods, crips, and bgf are going to talk with the clergy to see how to restore peace. They are meeting now from what I understand.

Oh I believe it. But I am sure there would be an agenda. They don't work together unless there is a common agenda. And peace is not one of their goals.
