In the May 10 federal court filing, unsealed on June 30, FBI Special Agent Jacqueline Dougher, who works from the Baltimore field office with the state's child exploitation task force, also requested access to three other Facebook pages and four other email accounts that appear to be associated with Baltimore men. At least one is linked to a man with the same name as a man previously interviewed by police.



At the above article, it is mentioned how Phylicia was found without clothing and legal experts believe that too will tie into the case. FWIW, UID's have washed up in the great lakes and rivers and have been clothed. Their clothing well torn due to the elements but not fully missing. There is no way Phylicia left that apartment in the middle of winter not dressed for winter. Plus the clothing she left in has not been found. 1+1=2.

Since we know that there were 3 men with PB the morning she went missing, I cringe to think of what may have occured to her.

Also, based on information at the article, I now believe LE has FAR more information on this case than they are making public and I believe there will be multiple persons charged.

Oh, how I can't wait until we can move this thread from 'located' to 'currently awaiting trial'. I'm more confident now than ever it won't be long until case discussion on Phylicia's case moves over to that currently awaiting trial area of WS.

Why would MJ have to wash his clothes at DB's apartment on December 28th, when him and his current BF/gf had been staying at an apartment (in big GJ's name), only 15 or 20 minutes away, that has laundry facilities. They moved out or were forced out of that apartment around February 2011.

Legal experts say the move does not necessarily mean that the case has a sex crime element, but that evidence of sexually explicit material discovered during the investigation is being used as an entry into computer accounts that could provide new insight into her death. Barnes was 16 years old at the time of her disappearance.

BBM: Note the article says at least three other people. We know there were three males last seen with Phylicia the day she went missing. The former boyfriend of her half sister Deena, his cousin and a younger brother of his. (FB posting made by the half sisters former boyfriend on the find PB FB group, since removed).


There has always been something hinky about Phylicia being left alone with three males and her comments that someone had made her feel uncomfortable just prior to her disappearance.

Praying LE is closer to having their case built and can soon file charges.

I saw this article AS SOON as it hit the net! I screen capped it and the original wording of your captured phrase was as follows:

So you are saying MJ had been living at both the apartment he shared with DB where PB was last seen AND living with his new gf since prior to moving out of DB's apartment and the date PB went missing? IOW He was living at the new girl friends apartment prior to the time PB arrived in MD to visit her half sisters?

I have a feeling after arrests are made and charges filed the details of this crime are going to be worse than we imagined. And it sickens me to think about a visit to 'family' resulting in what occured to Phylicia. If these allegations of child and sexual exploitation of children are true, how the he77 did this occur under DB and KB's nose? :furious:

The apartment where the new girlfriend stayed at was under Big GJ's name since 2009. MJ considered that apartment as his apartment although it was not in his name. I am not sure of the date of last year when the new girlfriend had moved in the apartment. He had been dating her for over a year now. Some people like to hold their items at prior places, thinking they have a place to move back to, just in case. Live here, stay here, go there, and so on; simply playing the field.

TY Sun48shine. So it sounds like, MJ had his gf he was living with and one on the side he was 'putting up' in another apartment. So basically, it was like him having access to and living at both places, while his primary residence was the apartment he shared with DB.

Without going into a whole lot of speculation, I suspect there is a much deeper dark side (for lack of better words at the moment) to MJ than what appears on the surface. Any woman who gets involved with him, imo, is as bright as any (word I can't say without getting a time out) female that got involved with OJ after he murdered Nicole and Ron.

Now is the time, imo, for anyone who is holding back information regarding the circumstances of Phylicia's murder to come forward and disclose that information to the investigators. If not, once LE finalizes crossing all their t's and dotting all their i's the repercussions for ANYONE withholding information is going to be 10 fold what it may have been had they come forward sooner. I forsee a lot of collateral damage to those believing they will get away with witholding information regarding Phylicia's murder and the events leading up to it. That may even include Phylicia's half sisters for child endangerment or something similiar. Just because they are not persons of interest does NOT in any way mean they will not be charged with some sort of crime with events leading up to the endangerment and murder of Phylicia.

When this comes down, it is gonna come down big. LE is playing it far too close to the vest for it to come down any other way.

Phylicia's story becomes more and more heartbreaking with each turn. The circumstances surrounding her murder are more bizarre and sick than we could have ever imagined.

There can be no poo-pooing this away.

Chris Swecker, a former assistant director for the FBI's Criminal Investigative Division, offered some insight on the investigation.

"There are facts that amount to probable cause, which is a pretty high standard that there is some connection to a child exploitation case,” Swecker said.

Swecker said agents will likely be looking at Barnes' web surfing history to see what sites she visited. Also, he said, they will possibly look at the texts of any emails to see if someone was trying to exploit her and whether anyone tried to entice her to travel.

The folks have GOT to be apprehended and corralled in front of the judge/jury for their earthly punishment. God help them in the next realm.

This breaks my heart. Phylicia deserved so much better. My thoughts and prayers are with her Mother, Father, family, and friends.

I pray Le will arrest the persons responsible for this and that the courts will convict and sentence them to the fullest extent of the law.

Oh dear God no! As you know and many who have followed Phylicia's case know I do not have working computer speakers and sadly our dear friend and awesome poster GJ' hasn't been posting in some time. She was so kind to transcribe for me.... and anyone else unable to listen to online audio.

I had a feeling something like this might have happened after news broke regarding the email/FB search warrants.

Thinking about PB being close to heading off to college and how many teens and college age girls have the girl on girl photo's online. I can see her wishing to excersize the next step into adulthood and perhaps being a little more daring than she would have at home. I honestly believe PB believed she was in a safe environment to perhaps test the waters but ended up being tossed into a tsunami.

I'm sorry but RB should know this is the worst of the worst of what happens to young females when they have an absent father most of their lives. Only he has to look at his daughters (all of them) lives and the choices they have made. I'm not going to vent only on RB here either. JS, God Bless her, one doesn't push their teenage daughter into their abc (absent by choice) biological fathers life without due caution. As an SP I gave my sons father the choice when my son turned 4, in or out. He was of an age he'd likely forget the years his dad was absent. I see many many active fathers of very young (birth to 6 or so) daughters who are ultra protective. They are running their daughters to martial arts classes, and they are becoming the new SAHD's.

Bottom line DO NOT procreate if you are not going to be a full time parent - and parenting does not end at 18, it is a lifetime responsibility and commitment!


Phylicia, your life was not in vain. You were taken away from us in an unexplainable selfish manner. I can only have hope that by your having gone back to the dear Lord so soon, a great many others will be impacted and make great strides in protecting our children from abuse of all kinds and all races. Keep looking down on us our dear angel in heaven!

I understand it. B'more has to be similiar to Chi town. LE is not going to tip their hand in any way shape or form so anyone who is a POI can give each other the heads up. LE is already battling the no snitch rule here and those who think they got away with murder. Why should LE not play a poker hand in this case? I wouldn't show my hand either....

If LE has the computers they can investigate more than the POI's. There may be others involved in other area's who don't know these 3 are being investigated. If they give out the names it might close an avenue of investigation. There are more young girls involved and I'm sure they want to keep that line of communication open for as long as they can. IMO
