How odd that a burglar removes his shirt and shoes. There must be fingerprints left at the home in California. Many companies and organizations fingerprint employees and members.
Being escorted by someone to the door is really strange.Maybe someone met this guy out somewhere- club, social gathering. He comes home with her, but things go south. Maybe invited to sleep on couch, but he tries to come into bedroom. Maybe a child tries to come to the rescue of Mom and was injured? This scenario could work, but why no video of him entering? Why was it previously described as a home invasion?
I agree with you about the gym. He may have a have a job that involves physical labor, or perhaps just is lucky to be young, and be blessed with good genes. And as for old lady eyes, I definitely understand, because I have the old man version.I agree we all see things differently, and I initially saw this on my phone. After watching on full size monitor, I can see the definition you talk about as he walks away. That's not terribly evident on a phone for my old lady eyes. So, I'd say he's fit but not buff? Not to split hairs, but yes I see some muscle definition, though not enough to indicate he's a gym rat IMO.
Relieved that there was no sexual assault.[…]
Los Angeles police said that the suspect was involved in a residential burglary and assault that took place on March 26 in South Los Angeles. A spokeswoman said that the assault was not of a sexual nature, but that investigators did not want to disclose “any more details about what occurred in the house at this time.”

Rachel Morin murder: DNA links suspected killer to Los Angeles home invasion
The Harford County Sheriff’s Office recovered DNA from Morin’s body that was matched through the national law enforcement database to evidence from a crime in Los Angeles.www.thebaltimorebanner.com
Yesterday it was posted on this thread, happy to know that didn't happen but scary for the young girl regardless.Did anybody claim it was sexual in nature? I don't think so.
I am obviously talking about offical statements about the crime here, not speculations on the board.Did you read the thread yesterday?
Interesting. I wonder if LE took it down initially to preserve all of the various comments and likes that she'd received over the years (that way the "friend" couldn't access her page and try to edit or remove them). I wonder if some activity occurred overnight that they want to preserve?FYI - I'm a few pages behind, but her most recent FB was removed again at some point between now and yesterday.
It might be, but that doesn't strike me as abnormal... It was such a problem near me that some stores started putting wheels on carts that lock if they're moved a certain distance away from the store. They're convenient to have in some cases. Is that a grocery cart at the front gate as he leaves the porch? Image at link.

Rachel Morin’s boyfriend Richard Tobin begs for help finding her ‘scum of the Earth’ murder suspect
The accused killer was seen on security video leaving a burglarized Los Angeles home.nypost.com
Even if there was a minimal property loss, assault makes it a violent crime so one hope LE in LA still investigates those. And DNA doesn't have to be from a sexual assault. There is even touch DNA now, where you can get DNA from something just touched by the suspect.Things I don’t quite understand:
—LAPD categorizes this “home invasion” as a burglary, but the guy walks out in the video with nothing that I can see.
—who breaks into a home and takes his shirt off just for the heck of it. He casually walks out like he has been sitting around watching TV or something.
—if it was not a sexual assault where did the DNA come from. I know you can get it from other sources.
—how was the young girl assaulted? Was she slapped, treated roughly to scare her?
—I’m just trying to figure out why LE in LA spent the money for DNA testing when they have really cut back on investigating crimes with minimal property loss.

Burglary doesn’t require a taking. Burglary is the entry into a structure with the intent to commit a larceny or felony therein.
California Code, PEN 459.

Definition of burglary from the Section 459 of the California Penal Code:That’s kinda what I was thinking.
I know technically burglary is breaking into a home with intent to steal…doesn’t mean you have to take something.
But he is so casual exiting. How long was he in there and what was he doing? Not stealing anything that I can see, they say there was no sexual assault. Was he watching Wheel of Fortune?
