This image looks nothing like all the others we've seen.
I'm honestly not even sure I'd believe it was the same person.
I know I can't be the only one thinking this.

<modsnip - quoted post was removed>

What seems quite clear to me, is that she was sooo loved. She seems to have been a very fortunate person with so many close and loving siblings.

The local here, as far the comments on her appearance, <modsnip> yes, it was mentioned right away when the Harford County sheriffs office put her pics out <modsnip>. A source to get some info is the Facebook page for the Harford County sheriffs office. Read through the comments on the 2 posts about her.

I can only imagine the headaches it causes for LE when the only pics they have immediately available are the ones the person has heavily edited for their online presence. One of my daughters does this, and I can guarantee if she went missing and the only pics anyone had was her last profile pics, no one would ever be looking for that person because in reality, she looks nothing like that.

While it's obviously anyone's right to present themselves however they choose, it's also vitally critical that LE (and the public, if they're asking for the public's assistance) have pics of what the person actually looks like, day to day, minus any digital filters.

Sadly since Rachel has already been found, I only hope they quickly catch the monster that took her away.

She was found just a week after her brother’s four-month-old daughter, Lillian Elizabeth Morin, died from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) on July 28, her sister Rebekah Morin wrote on social media.

“It has only been a week since my niece Lily Beth passed away from SIDS, and I find that I have to make yet another GoFundMe to help my mother, Patty Morin with funeral costs,” Rebekah posted on that second fundraiser for her sister’s funeral costs.

I hate when I see a woman out for a walk, a jog, doing anything alone and senselessly taken from us. It is unnerving women can’t enjoy life without worry of being attacked. RIP Rachel

'Earlier this afternoon, we received confirmation from the state medical examiner that the body recovered was that of Rachel Morin,' a Harford County Sheriff spokeswoman said.

But she added investigators have not yet identified any possible suspects as part of their homicide probe and renewed the call for fresh clues.

'We are asking people if they have information to please step forward and give that to the sheriff's office instead of discussing it on social media,' the spokeswoman said.

Local police declined to comment on how Morin died or the type of injuries she sustained.

Ms Morin had worked as a model, and appeared on the cover of Owl Magazine, Harford Community College’s student publication, where her brother John Morin worked as a technical director.

In 2018, she shared photographs from a trip to New Zealand to visit John, who was working as a photographer in the town of Whakatane.

In a post in February, Ms Morin shared a foreboding quote to her Facebook page: “Risk can be dangerous, but routine can be deadly. Comfort has killed more dreams than daring ever did.”

Ms Morin also started her own cleaning business, East Coast Cleaners, in 2019, according to Open Corporates

I think one key thing to think about is that if it wasnt a random attack then it'd most likely have to be someone close enough to her to know she would be going there that day and that exact time. That is unless she always went on the same days and times and someone picked up on her schedule MOO.

Also with people that like to photograph nature, or just taking selfies, there could be a car or people(s) in the background ?
Hoping for justice soon , for Rachel !

After re-listening to the presser I noticed in the beginning he said “a homicide that happened today or earlier this morning” instead of saying last night or between the time she was last seen or reported missing and found at 1pm the next day.

I think that is an interesting detail because to me that implies that they don't believe she was killed that night she allegedly went to the trail. Did that stand out to anyone else?

You're probably overthinking it.

Karina Vetrano's case has a similar fact pattern to this one and was random. You never know.

I see two areas to park off williams st to access the trail. It was reported to be the one behind the brewery.
That lot to park is behind a set of apartments.

The trail is in heavy wooded area and travels down to highway 24 runs parallel to 24 then goes under 24 to runs behind more apartments.

Who was she dating before the recent fellow?

Hope they can get cellphone data, dna. She appeared fit hoping she was able to fight back, unless she was attacked from behind and has dna evidence.

I heard that too and it did stand out. Seemed like an interesting way to dance around time of death.

Here's hoping she was able to scratch the daylights out of someone !
Maybe pull some hair ?
Dna evidence may solve this case.
Anyone with recent scratches walking around ?
