I'm wondering if at first it wasn't an attack on the young girl but was reported later as one along with a home invasion. The video clearly shows someone letting him out of the door, maybe he got caught with the young girl? JMO

My guess is the girl who was assaulted in LA provided a physical description of the suspect, but because the perpetrator evidently hasn't been arrested previously, their DNA hasn't been entered into CODIS under his name.

The person who let him out of the house could have given them his name and then the police could have told us his name.

I am glad it wasn't someone who knew her, I'm sure that puts her family at ease. This is going to be a manhunt now. Very scary and I'm concerned that he has left the state and will attack someone/somewhere else. GET EM LE.....

So weird noone asked who shut the door as the guy was leaving? Yikes - Assuming it was the victim and he was telling her not to call LE or he was coming back to kill her ? Also assuming she must have been the only person in the house ? Or I just don't know JMO

I think the perp would have left the area. Hopefully somebody can identify him from the video. Only other thing that might helpful would be if he was in the area and working, maybe businesses could see if anybody suddenly left that might match a Latino man of his age and size.
I'm not confident this will end in a quick arrest. And I'm worried he might do it again somewhere else.

May be able to narrow the possibilities down based on his description, also the fitness center, he looked fit in the video.

This is good info. Someone, or many people, know a guy who looks like him who was in CA in March and MD in August. That’s not a quick or cheap trip. Reg flags are going up and I hope someone is brave enough to speak out.

At the press conference they said it was home invasion so I doubt the person who opened the door knew his name. Total speculation, but I wonder if he entered the woman's room in the house in LA through a window/sliding glass door and then was escorted out the front door after someone else in the house heard what was going on.

Looks like he might work out...hopefully they'll be looking at RM's gym. That haircut, if he still has it, is distinctive IMO. I really hope someone recognizes him quickly!

It looks somewhat military style. Could be someone who was stationed in CA, now in the Balt/DC area. JMHO and speculation.

True but the people who know him will not necessarily be aware of the case. I have mentioned the case to a couple friends who follow A lot of news sources (online and TV) and they never heard of the case. Most people are not true crime buffs.
