Moo...seasonal worker? Fruit picking etc? Carnavals, roedi for band?

Cross country truck driver would be my guess.
I doubt it, how would he have gotten to the trail if he were driving a commercial truck? Unless he isn't currently working right now, he would've had to park quite a distance away and then walk to the trail which is possible but unlikely IMO. A tractor trailer parked somewhere it isn't supposed to be (i.e., a truck stop or making a delivery) would definitely attract attention. MOO.

I wonder if the dog walking group saw her and if so, whether she was alone, walking with someone, or had someone walking close behind her. If so, they might be able to give a recent description of him (whether he grew his hair out, grew a beard, etc)

"Davis said they are not looking for any accomplices, and told local people to be on their guard.

'We believe the suspect acted alone and, he does not represent the entire Hispanic community of Harford County, who we are now partnering with to identify this suspect,' he said."

I'm looking at this video again. He's just mo-zing? sauntering, strolling out of the house. Like it's his house and he's leaving to go out. It's so weird imo

LE has talked to many other hikers on the trail. They would know the answer to this question. We may not.

I was just going to say that !
Possible. Is there a depot in the Bel Air area?

If a trucker, he could be anywhere. If not he could be anywhere anyway...ugh.
Looks can be deceiving, but…

That doesn’t strike me as a trucker’s haircut.

Sorry if I missed it, I've just scanned 12 pages to catch up, but do we know how he entered the home? All they have is him leaving? TIA if you know. :)
We know little about his crime in LA, only that the victim was young. There is video of the suspect leaving a LA home where the sexual assult happened.

"Police obtained a doorbell camera video of the unidentified male leaving the scene of the Los Angeles assault.
Police showed that video, which shows the suspect exiting a home shirtless. Based on the video, police believe the suspect is about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, around 160 pounds, in his early-to-mid 20s and of Hispanic descent.
"We know nothing about him, other than he was in L.A. and committed that crime in March, and was here in August, and we believe him to be the murderer of Rachel Morin," Davis said.
He said police believe the suspect acted alone, and they have no reason to believe he knew Morin, meaning the killing could have been a random act of violence."

Yes, it was rhetorical. I'm thinking if so, between the video image they have and the eyewitness description they might get, they may be able to come up with a pretty good likeness/composite to distribute nationwide.

Oh so they did say doorbell? Or is the press just assuming it's doorbell? I guess it doesn't matter though I find it odd a doorbell camera would be on the right to his back.

Not wearing his shirt...it was chilly in March here. Low/mid 60s, high 50s.

I guess I'll look again (isn't the doorbell always to left - would be facing him). Whichever it was, he knew it was there and he wasn't worried about it.

So, Q is how did he know there weren't more? How was he so sure there wasn't another (or 2) facing the street, or even inside?

Quite often, when a woman is abducted on a park path, we assume a random crime of opportunity. I'm wondering whether this was a situation where he knew who she was and her habits, but she did not know him. He looks fit. Did they first cross paths at a gym? She was on several dating sites. Did they connect there, but he used someone else's photo?

Like the Kohberger murders in Idaho, where he crossed paths with one of the victims and learned the house schedule, I think this suspect crossed paths with Rachel somewhere prior to the murder.

That gave him the advantage on the path. It seems unusual to grab a woman in broad daylight off a path right next to a drainage culvert, unless it's all pre-planned and he is expecting her.

Same with the cameras. He arrived at the house, but there's no footage of his face approaching the camera (that we know of). Chances are he knew that the young girl was home alone and perhaps he knew camera locations prior to the assault.

Interesting no reward offered, description of possible injuries to the perp or her cod, I think LE is further along with this investigation than we think.

Photo posted upthread - screen captures from video. It looks like the top part of his ears folds down or sticks out.

Observations

This guy, at least in March

1. Was very physically fit
2. Precision haircut
3. Clean shaven
4. No discernible tattoos or other markings
5. Clothes not dirty as if he is homeless
6. Gold chain around his neck
7. Little to no back hair/arm hair
8. Looks like he had $; And, he had the means to travel across country

Why Maryland?
Social Media stalking of RM?
Family in Bel Air?
Find the barber in LA - someone cut that hair. That person will at least know (maybe well) or recognize the work
Revisit the LA victim to assure her he is gone; Ask her if there is anything else she can remember

They said she was young. She must still be petrified. If she knows he is across the country or at least was across the country as of 12 days ago, this may give her some comfort to speak.

If she was afraid to say if she ever saw him at a camp, or at a school, on the street, anywhere, for fear he would come back, maybe now she will feel more comfortable disclosing this.

#1 has me wondering if he saw her at the gym. Maybe overheard her mention going to the trail? MOO

ETA: Sorry @otto, I just read your post with the same idea!

Sheriff reiterated assault and says he doesn't want to discuss any facts of the LA case bc just like he's holding back details to preserve their investigation he wants to leave any LA details up to LA to decide what they want the public to know about their case.

Makes sense.

Sucks they don't have any images from CCTV the day of the attack. I'm assuming they don't or they would have used that instead of a months' old image.
