**Missing Person Investigation Continues...**

The Salisbury Police Department is continuing our investigation into the disappearance of 25-year-old Shaquanna Rutherford, whose information we posted early last month.

The investigation has revealed that Ms. Rutherford (pictured below) was last seen in the area of the Wawa, 668 S. Salisbury Blvd., on May 19, 2025. Ms. Rutherford is described as being 5'2" in height and 280 pounds. She is considered critically missing due to health concerns as well suspicious circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

25-year-old Shaquanna Rutherford, known to many as Kita, has now been missing for almost three months.

One of her last sightings was at the Wawa on Route 13 South in Salisbury on May 18th. Her sister, Dynasha Seawright said she and her family have been searching for her ever since.

The Maryland State Police Dive Team searched the Wicomico River from Downtown Salisbury, all the way to the Wicomico Yacht Club in Eden, with no trace of Shaquanna.

That, coupled with the leads that are dying down, Caton (PD Lt) said they’re still looking to fill the gaps in this investigation.

I found a divorce record from late 2024 ( Wicomico Circuit Court Case Number: C-22-FM-24-000956).

The divorce itself raises some questions for me simply as to the timeline of her going missing in the middle of this if indeed it is her. Though I can't imagine there are too many women with that first and last name in Salsisbury.

The case is closed, but it shows the divorce was dismissed if I'm reading the case notes correctly (not all included here, just the main ones). Maybe a family lawyer here can make more sense of it?
