I hope she’s just hungover. I think she would be up by now. I also wonder what happened in that window. So many people in the neighborhood have cameras, they have to be piecing it together.

Very worrisome. I'm assuming her wallet was not in the purse? The way the purse was found on the street makes me think of a mugging. If she fell into the water, wouldn't her purse be in the water too?

This is very close to me. My good friend lives in Canton square. I have some “behind the scenes” knowledge but can’t say here due to TOS rules. But it’s not looking good IMO. Praying for Savannah!

You can share your opinion as to why "it isn't looking good"? From reading various reports from family and friends, it seems like she is super responsible & reliable. So being incommunicado is really out of character for her.

Are we looking at foul play or maybe an accidental fall into the water?

Reports of commotion in the area together with her possibly seen on ring camera around the same time suggest that she was either fleeing or having some sort of personal trouble. The water is maybe three football field lengths from the apartments on Boston Street and as someone else mentioned it would be very difficult to get out of the harbor if you fell in there. Even the docks don't have ladders (though some slip owners install their own).

Her cell phone was in her purse as well? When her Aunt called to check on her yesterday after she missed their lunch date, BPD answered SP's phone.

Do we know where Savannah lives, or was staying? Those Shipyard apartments or nearby? I gather she was walking home.
Is the 3:30 am sighting confirmed? by whom, and how did she appear? If so where was she between 1:30 am and 3:30 am?
The "commotion" and belongings found is way too concerning.

Search Continues For Savannah Payne Who Went Missing In Baltimore After Birthday Celebration, Police Say She May Have Fallen Into Water



Police have traced her disappearance to the Boston Street corridor.

Investigators have reason to believe Payne may have fallen into the water near that area, according to police.

Homicide detectives have assumed control of the investigation.

After she didn’t show up to lunch with her aunt on Tuesday, her aunt called her cell phone and Baltimore Police picked up. Her purse was found along Boston Street.

Family says she’s not the type to run off.

“If you saw a tall thin girl with dark hair running the night before last or maybe you’d see something out of the ordinary, call police,” said one family member.

Residents tell WJZ they heard a commotion in the area at the time Payne went missing, but they don’t know if it’s related.

I also find it interesting that her purse and cell phone were turned in to police. Usually if a purse or phone is lost you can assume you’ll never get it back. Imo
