The way Betty slept by the front door for 18 years just in case her baby came home makes my heart break.

It is a very sad case... I hope that her case is solved soon... with the new DNA technology, someone will end up being discovered... her mother waited 20 years sleeping in her living room in case she appeared at night or if the phone rang I imagine... her desperation for her 12-year-old daughter, still a child... the authorities do little or nothing when it is a person of color...
