It really does seem like they are leaning towards self harm and knowing her, although it’s been years since we were close, I know with all of my heart that she didn’t do this to herself. She wouldn’t leave her kids like this. She had stuff for her daughter birthday party in her car, which they had plans for that weekend. Also, how did only one person report seeing her walking? At that time of morning there is so many people traveling to work.I am going back and forth myself.
Look at Aniah's case and where her car was found. I won't name the next case because it was close by my daughter, but a young lady who was murdered three towns over, the murdere drove her car and parked it in the apartment complex my daughter lives at. It sat there for a couple of days, before someone reported it, as it was parked in a reserved spot- thank goodness for that, too, as who knows how long her car would have sat there? It really gave my daughter and all the women living at the complex the heebie jeebies, knowing a murderer was within feet of their vehicles!
Anneliese's Mom said she had no idea why she was heading towards Portland. I just don't see that area being sentimental enough to jump into the water. Not to mention plenty of traffic going by, someone would have seen her do this. But that doesn't mean that it didn't happen. People have done self harm without anyone noticing anything out of the ordinary. I just wish we knew if more than one person saw her that morning.
It can go either way. From what I have read on the police sites, it looks to me (IMO) that they are leaning to self harm being the cause.
So many questions and no answers.
