Does anyone know if there has been any confiscation or review of cell phones by all those adults that were in the home?

Unfortunately we know NOTHING ... NADA ... ZIP ... about the adults who were in the home ...

We don't know HOW MANY were there ...

We don't know WHO was there -- and IF they are a "relative" or "friend" of the father, his family ...

my opinion only: Justin, Ayla's dad, is following LEs orders to remain quiet, stay out of the way, and let us do our job.

Apparently, all communications must be cleared through the LE prior to going to the media . . . I'll go find that link for ya

I went back and reviewed the "tweet" in the above post, which states :

Just my opinion and interpretation ... but it does NOT state anything about communications between the parents -- Justin and Trista -- and the media, and LE ...

My "interpretation" is that The Publicy Safety Person, Steve McCausland, is the individual who will be handling all "communications" between all the Law Enforcement Agencies and the media ...


:innocent: Maybe a "local" here can verify IF Mr. McCausland is maybe something like a "public relations person" or some type of "liaison" between LE and agencies ...

at the PC a reporter said that he received a call that there has been a sighting in a southern state at a hospital. i couldn't really hear but when the PC is uploaded i can get the exact statement.

The fact that the Father's home (where the child was reported missing) is still closed to family and in the hands of LE is telling. They are collecting evidence. Something happened there.

Reynolds had filed a complaint against DiPietro for determination of paternity, parental rights and responsibilities and child support, according to documents obtained Monday from Cumberland County Superior Court in Portland.

I'm still catching up. Someone may have already posted this and if they have please just ignore the following.

Determination of paternity is a legal step that must be taken when a child is born outside the marriage as opposed to inside the marriage.

Inside the marriage is another legal term used that I won't explain here because it isn't applicable to Ayla.

Outside the marriage means that there was no marriage between the parents of Ayla at the time she was born (we all knew that already) and (my interpretation at this time without seeing the actual paperwork) is that Father did not claim paternity at the time of her birth legally by going through the legal steps to have his name on the birth certificate (or he may have I don't know).

But in order to proceed with custody and child support filing the paternity must be established before the courts will even look at the case. JMHO.

Oversimplification of legal process, if other's have any other questions we would need to get a family attn here to explain (and I believe we do have members here that are verified as such).

Justin is NOT the only parent who has decided NOT to go on camera and speak to the media ...


The first person who comes to my mind -- who did NOT speak directly to the media on camera was Terrie Moulton Horman -- Kyron Horman's step-mother ... when he went "missing" ...

Yes, she showed up at the presser early on in the case ... but did NOT speak then, and has yet to ever speak to the media ... of course, she has "lawyered up" and IMO, is considered the "unconfirmed" poi ...

Just an example ... and I did not mean to go off topic here -- just trying to make a point here ... :innocent:


JMO ... but when a parent does NOT use the media to "plead" for their "kidnapped" or "missing" child to come back ... I see "red flags" ...

They can ask them not to share certain things but they can't tell anyone not to speak to media...but again I could be wrong...just throwing that out there, not directed at anyone
