Hi TorisMom :) Where was it reported that PD was going on JVM?? I saw 'godmother' but didn't find 'grandmother' anywhere...although I've seen it posted by a few people...so just wondering.
Here is the post

By the way, JD's mom will be on Jane Velez Mitchell tonight. (PD)

No, they didn't give her any pills, imo. I think it is possible that she found them herself. And that is why everyone would cover it up because they are all
guilty in some way. The gf's siter was busted with 1000 oxycontin...that is a lot of pills

Okay, but . . . I'm just not sure that has anything to do with the actual evidence, which is blood splatter.

Usually it happens when someone gets punched in the mouth, the eye, or something like that. It's more than a little trickle of blood - it's from something violent because the blood sprays out.

I'm thinking it's more likely the adults were high than the children.

I don't think it has been confirmed by LE that there was 'splattered' blood. Even if there was, it could be other than Ayla's.

Rewatching NG, talking about the oddities....

I'm wondering if that was the broken gate?

  • #406
But if JD just backslapped her and knocked her down the stairs, killing her in cold blood, then why would the sister and gf cover for him?

Because he lied to them too? Because he said she fell and it was an accident?

Or when someone's head hits a hard surface like concrete basement floor.

"The quantity of blood we found, that is quite disturbing to us."

This was said by a man {LE on sound bite} on Nancy Grace from a CNN news source.

Also, that many spots were found of her blood
Some of her blood was visible to the eye, some was detected w/ luminol.
Someone elses blood was also found - who, ?

NG asked that of McLausand about 5 different ways, but he would not give it up.

Hi Katydid, I thought I heard on JVM's show that the spattered blood was found in the basement.

Earlier I read it was Ayla's dad whose space was in the basement.

Unfortunately we don't know where ... LE is not saying ...

:innocent: Sure wish they would "share" some of that info ...

BBM: Yes ... NG did try hard to get some more info out of McLausand ... gotta give her credit for trying ...

But he wasn't "budging" ...

Oh, yes, I knew it was in the basement. But NG was asking if it was on the wall, or the floor or a carpet, or next to the bed, or the bottom of the stairs...And he wouldn't answer that.

Just thinking out loud if someone else was being hit, do we have early pix of any one close to the case that had any new or healed up injuries?
I'm wondering if Ayla has been missing LONGER than reported?
We can only take the 911 call as time she was said to be missing,

1st BBM: Good point ... I don't remember reading anything about this possibility -- but from one of the earliest pics I remember seeing, it looked like they were all in coats and jackets ...

:waitasec: I sure hope LE checked them ALL out when they arrived on the scene ...

2nd BBM: I think she was gone BEFORE she was reported "missing" because of the missed doctor's appointment that was scheduled ...

all MOO ...

Why isn't LE looking in the landfill. What makes them think she is in water? Has to be something to make them look there.

I think I might have answered my own question...why yes I have...probably they got forensic off of the tires so they know where they were at. I hope this is the case

This comes up a lot in various threads. Searching a landfill is almost impossible. In the case of Lori Hacking, LE knew when her body had been placed in the trash and in what receptacle. So, they were able to trace back to the most likely grid her body would have ended up in.

Despite this, they searched for weeks and weeks:
Mark Hacking Charged With Wife's Murder - Aug. 9, 2004
A first-degree murder charge was filed against Mark Hacking, who according to police sources confessed to his brothers that he shot his wife in the head and threw her body in a trash bin. Lori Hacking's body has not been found, despite numerous searches of a local landfill.
http://crime.about.com/od/current/a/hacking_2.htm

Finally:
The discovery came on the 33rd working day of a search of 4,600 tons of garbage. Over the past weeks, investigators used cadaver dogs and brought in garden rakes to comb through the trash. About 20 law enforcement found the remains on Friday.
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,134233,00.html

In the case of Jennifer and Abby Blagg, LE had difficulty searching for the mother and little girl, despite also knowing when they were disposed of and into which trash receptacle:
Jennifer's remains were discovered in the Mesa County landfill on June 5, 2002. There was no evidence of Abby's body at the scene and authorities are not certain if her remains will be located in the future.

Investigators stated that Jennifer's body was located in landfill trash collected from Michael's former employer in November 2001. One of his former co-workers told authorities that he saw Michael pushing a pallet jack with two large-sized cardboard boxes on it on the day he reported Jennifer and Abby as missing. The witness stated that Michael discarded the items on the loading dock near Ametek Inc.s' trash compactor. Michael refused an offer of assistance with the boxes, which was uncharacteristic of his behavior.

Police explain the difficulty in locating little Abby:
GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO - Investigators on Monday resumed their search for a missing girl at a landfill where her mother's body was found last week.

Investigators remained hopeful but have found no clues since they identified the body of Abby's mother, Jennifer Blagg, in the dump on Wednesday. Police said she had been shot to death.

``If Abby is in the landfill and was in that same load of refuse, the bulldozers spread it out over quite a large area,'' said Janet Prell, spokeswoman for the Mesa County sheriff. ``Abby could be quite far from her mother.''

Authorities said it could take weeks to finish sorting through the 7,000 tons of trash in the search area at the landfill.
http://www.accessnorthga.com/detail.php?n=193741&c=2

They never found Abby. She remains in the trash dump her father sent her to.

So in the cases of Ayla, Jhessye, Sky, etc., it is virtually impossible to know where, in the acres and acres of mountains of trash, to begin to look. And even when they know where in that mountain, a small child may never be found.

With the exception I believe there is proof this grandmother knows what truly happened in that home. For one, I personally do not believe it happened on Dec 16th. I think he did not take Ayla to her dr appt because there was no Ayla to take. I also believe texting "fears someone will take Ayla" was another means to help set up the "alibi" and I am pretty sure, being he and Ayla were living in that house, that grandmother, sister, and girlfriend are all aware.

I agree. Reminds me of other cases where one child is abused while adults either participate or ignore it. I have thought from the beginning that Ayla was likely abused to death.

Why does LE do this? To get a confession? It doesn't work. They end up lawyering up and then what?

I don't get it.

It actually works almost all the time. We sleuth the hard cases. The cases where there is a confession very quickly do not get as much attention unless they are somehow unique.

Sadly, though, I think some perps are starting to catch on and the old techniques, while still good ones that usually work, are slowly starting to lose effectiveness in more such cases, like Kyron's, Jhessye's, Caylee's, Sky's, Ayla's, Aliayah's, Haleigh's, Hailey's, Hassani's, Baby Lisa's, Bianca's, Baby Kate's, etc, etc.

Police spokesperson: Justin did not know that at all r.e. Trista filing for full custody of Ayla the day before she goes missing.

This does not surprise me. It struck me as an abuse-leading-to-death case, early on. I wish it was not so. This baby looked so much like the father. Who the heck enjoys using a helpless baby as a punching bag? Are they punishing that which they don't like about their own self when they abuse their own child or allow their child to be abused? Isn't the innate goal of humans to protect and care for little children who cannot care for themselves, who are fragile little lives needing constant care and deep love? It baffles me, enrages me and makes me feel hopeless when I hear of such cases.

A window taken from the Violette Avenue bedroom where Justin DiPietro claimed his daughter was sleeping did not appear to be tampered with and could not be opened from the outside, law enforcement sources said.

So they didn't even try to make it look like a kidnapping? Really? :waitasec:

Because he lied to them too? Because he said she fell and it was an accident?

But didn't LE state that the stories of all three are suspect? That seems to indicate they know they are covering and that what they are saying does not make sense to investigators.

It is still hard for me to understand why these three adults in the home would still lie and cover up the truth. If it was an accident, wouldn't one of them come forward now? It is surely better to be charged with an accidental negligent manslaughter than an outright murder. One of them can make a deal I am sure. Admit to the cover up, and tell what happened. She fell down the stairs, or OD'd on Oxy, or JD paddled her too hard for messing her bedcovers.

Surely they realize that the danger they are all in if they keep lying and covering for each other. The girls are going to lose parental custody soon, if not, imo.
