I feel like someone out there should know who she is, based on all the identifiers listed!

Notable identifying features include:
• A yin-yang tattoo on her left hip, surrounded by a blue tornado.
• A scar on her stomach from an appendectomy.
• A scar on the back of her head/skull from a previous surgery, with a surgical patch still attached.

Are they sure it's a 'tornado' and not waves or something similar?
It looks more like an "astral swirl":

I know this case has been posted already but I can't find the original thread (my search skills are lacking, I guess). I remember seeing the tattoo and the thread title said "woman found wrapped in plastic" because I remember thinking it sounded like Laura in Twin Peaks.

None of the official releases have said she was wrapped in plastic, so, perhaps you are thinking of a different found person??

It's possible I am mixing up victims, but I definitely remember the yin/yang tattoo surrounded by the tornado. It's not important. I was just trying to consolidate threads, if possible. It's also possible I saw it somewhere else. (Now I want to find the victim who was found wrapped in plastic.)

I looked before I posted - I didn't see anything but glad you were checking too!

What do they mean by a surgical patch still on her head? Like a bandage or something more?

I’ve recently had (many) head/neck surgeries and I had a dressing/bandage for over a month while the last one healed. Mine was quite complicated and involved a skin graft, but normally I think they’d look to get bandages off within 2 weeks, with stitches removed after a week. If she had no stitches but did have some sort of bandage, I would guess she was 1-4 weeks post-surgery. They should also be able to tell what she had done, which might be informative.

I wonder if, combined with the tattoos, if it would trigger the memory of one of the HCPs who cared for her. Someone will remember doing that surgery and will see she hasn’t turned up for a follow up appointment.

I guess it is a steri strip to even out the pressure on a recent suture

I’m not sure she was dressed for any sort of outdoor pursuit. I definitely wouldn’t be hiking in Doc Martens and $200 jeans. And Fjallraven, while it started as a trendy outdoor ish brand, is definitely something worn more by people who like well made stylish European brands and not by anyone doing anything technical outdoors. To me, she is dressed like someone who is going out to lunch or to a bar for a drink or a more urban terrain rather than say going on a hike or going to the beach.
