Westbrook police seeking help find to missing 5-year-old boy

Garnett Cummings, 5, was last seen in Westbrook on Wednesday at about 5 p.m. with his father, Christopher Cummings.

The boy’s father has not been seen or heard from since Wednesday.

I wonder were the parents together? Was this a custody battle? They don't mention the mother at all, if they lived together, etc. The report above is very very vague!

That is what is puzzling- we don't know anything. We don't know if the father and son came to harm together by a sick person, we don't know if the father was trying to get him out of an abusive situation, I have looked all over the internet and FB pages, including the Westbrook PD's page, no family or friends of the family has posted concern. We don't know if the Dad is a good man or an abusive man, we don't know anything about the mother, or if they were still married or living together. This lack of information doesn't help when a child has been missing for three days now!
