Jill’s mom warned her daughter not to go on the camping, according to a family Facebook post. She left voluntarily according to her mother, who tried to talk her out of going. However what has happened since then is anybody"s guess.
Ron Sidebotham told the Boston Globe: “My wife said she tried to stop her but [Jill] said it would be fine.”
*These words have bothered me very much since the get-go…
“it would/will be fine” these words are a trigger for me as they were the exact words Mama would always tell us kids when Daddy would drag her into a room and shut the door. We would be so scared and crying trying to make him stop hurting her. She knew if we kept screaming, it would only make it worse for her and ultimately for us. He would just get angrier and angrier the more we cried. Perhaps, Jill was trying to prevent an argument that what’s his face might interfere in and escalate into something nobody benefited from. Or not. Idk, anyways, I have bad vibes from this case.
