This will be so hard on her young students as well. I'm sure they will be given counseling and I hope they find ways to cope - death can be so scary at that age.

I'm so sad for everyone. :(

Moo

Oh thats such awful news. Kristin was clearly deeply loved by her friends, family and husband. Im assuming suicide.

The depths of losing a loved one to suicide and the unbelievable lifelong pain and domino effect that exists forever more is unreal. I wish things had been different for Kristen. For her and her family.

A reminder that sometimes words used in a past tense is because the people closest just know, not that they are guilty.

I agree, I think he just “knew” based on what she was going through

I feel that we need to do that when a person is missing and we have limited information to go on and the goal is to find the missing person. When we know there is a deceased person, I think we should wait until the facts come out from the authorities. It is JMO and I was expressing it.

OK, I thought you were saying we were breaking the rules.

I've ate my hat many times on here when I've said "oh c'mon folks, thats just a worried partner".

Sometimes I feel so yucky after reading some threads with unfortunately the finger pointing at the slightest thing. Threads like this burn my heart, they really do.

10 years ago my boyfriend went missing. He threw himself infront of a train. You read his deathv inquest and it's full of police statements from me while he was 'missing', like he WAS, he DID, he USED TO etc. All the 'red flags' here. I was simply just speaking about my very much loved partner who was missing.

I am so sorry about your boyfriend. Even after reading about statement analysis, I still think that using past tense in not a solid indicator of guilt.

A bit of a o/t If my husband went missing right now i could guarantee I would be saying the bugger snored and snored so I got up at 232am last night to head to the sofa for the second time this week(141am the other night) or I could've bashed his head, while shouting at him that he was selfish and pointing out the time to him.

This morning I was angry, tired and frustrated and hardly spoke to him. When he walked out to work he was probably frustrated and no doubt angry at both him for the issue and me for being so angry.

If he went missing/got murdered during his working day, my statement would be all that man kept me awake half the night without a though, he didnt give two you know what's about me but he loved his kids.

Holy smokes, he's just started snoring on the sofa... you guys will be my witness I never bumped him off right?!

I agree with you. If she seemed "different" to him, and he was trying hard to get her the help she needed, he might have known this was his worst nightmare coming true. I can't imagine going through that and I feel for all the people on here who have had to experience the horror of suicide. We don't know if that's the case yet, but I suspect it to be.

I feel in comment overload tonight, thats not typically me, I've never said anything exciting or worthy in the last 4/5 years lol.

This I feel is super o/t so ok if deleted. In my case of my bf that committed suicide, my city had merged council and medical services(UK nhs) worked with the community psychiatric tea,my whole blended team all knew him, he was on our patch.

One of my colleagues got his last call begging for help, they all knew him at least socially, spread through the team that he was mine, not one person called me. Not one even unofficially on a '🤬🤬🤬 break' call.

I had a massive break sheeit shouty breakdown at work after that, I had to leave, I had no trust in the mental health services

Do they typically have a crime scene van/investigators present at a suicide? TIA

I like you Alethea! But not in a creepy way lol

They’ll have to investigate, I assume, before ruling it a suicide. I guess some things, like in the case of Jennifer Huston, might make things more conclusive, but they need to determine whether foul play is involved.

549 people thought you had something worthy of saying over the last 4/5 years. ❤️❤️

IMO, law enforcement has to make sure it is not a homicide.

I don't blame you, I would have done the same thing. Sorry you went through that.

By looking on some comments...

Please do respect that no one has been named suspect neither it is confirmed to be Kristin or a suspicious death case. Means also please do not discuss the husband / family as this is considered victim sleuthing. Thanks!

No matter how close help might seem to those on the outside, the one that is suffering sees no hope at all.
