Authorities are trying to determine the identify a badly-decomposed body found this morning in Vassalboro. Maine State Police say the body was found by two deer hunters in woods a short distance from Route 32.

Body found in Vassalboro is convicted child molester

William Stein, 60, of Vassalboro. He pled guilty in June to four counts of unlawful sexual contact on a young child, police said. He failed to show up at prison June 11.
