Geraldo has to have his big nose into everything. Was he standing on Ron's property when he was in Ron's face? These people have enough on their plates without some media snoop coming there and getting all huffy with them.

The familys were getting along just fine. I bet Geraldo undid every bit of that healing. Everyone should remember that they are on Ron's property whether it is rented or not. He doesn't have to let anyone stay there or walk onto his property much less start in on him.

I feel so bad that no one came by to go out and search with Ron yesterday. It's to bad someone doesn't have a trail bike or something like that that Ron could use during the day so he could search. Not good to go by himself though. What if he found Haleigh and he was alone. Not a good thing. I hope people showed up this weekend.


Would it be possible for people to use a person's first name and last name initial when writing about the people involved in this case. It gets really hard trying to figure out who everyone is. For people who are visiting her or just joining it has to be really confusing with just initials.

I think it's disgusting that media has to turn missing child cases into some type of circus and torment the families in order for the case to stay in the news. The likes of Geraldo have no business snooping around on the property. I'll never watch his show, never really have, but for sure won't after this.

Geraldo DISGUSTS me. So does Fox News. I can't believe anyone watches this junk, let alone buys it.

Ron may very well be 100% innocent of Haleigh's disappearance, but you can not deny that that young man has a temper. He was angry, rightly so perhaps, but that was anger, not being close to tears. IMO

I so agree!! Geraldo was only stirring up problems between the families, IMO. He should be reporting facts, not rumors and speculations. I don't blame Ron's family for being angry and telling him to leave but Ron's body language during that little interview tells me he is not being truthful. He does seem to have an anger management problem. I would not be surprised at all if he has hit ALL the women he has had relationships with.
Interesting was Crystal's statement that he has been faking all this crying and stuff. I wondered about that, and have noticed there doesn't seem to be a lot of tears when he does this.

Oh I don't disagree he has a temper, could "possibly" be an abuser, etc. I sure wouldn't want my daughter any where near him. I just don't trust the other players here either so don't know what the "truth" is. I watched the video twice and thought he trying to control his emotions anger/hurt/tears all at the same time.

I really thought when Geraldo gave us the "tease" on Friday nite that this would prove one way or the other how much of a loose cannon Ron is... I expected to see Ron show his "true" colors and go off half cocked on GR if that's truly who he is. But I came away more confused than ever.

Fox anchor banned from camp of missing girl's father

Fox News anchor Geraldo Rivera was issued a trespass warning after a contentious interview with the father of a missing Putnam County girl.

As the search for 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings entered its 13th day, the county was abuzz about the contentious interview with her father Saturday night with Rivera.Cummings got upset when Rivera said he'd been told by members of Haleigh's mother's family that Cummings hit the child and has said he is 75 percent sure he knows who has her.
Putnam County Sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene later, and issued Rivera the trespass warning at the request of the two property owners on whose land the Cummings family is camping while their trailer remains closed off as a crime scene.
A trespass warning means Rivera would be arrested if he came back onto the property. Rivera told deputies he understood and stated he would not come back to the address, but declined to sign the trespass warning, according to a sheriff’s office report.

I am in shock at what we just saw....treating a parent who has a child missing like that! Before LE has arrested them or even named them as a person of interest.

Who does this? Geraldo will hopefully be vilified by all those parents out there who have had missing children... Geraldo has been cozying up to George Anthony, who will be very angry at his treatment of Ron on the show today. GR has also had Mark Klaas on his show, and Mark Klass has been singing the praises of the family for putting their differernces aside for the sake of the missing child.

Geraldo single handedly went to Florida and shook the entire treee... now look at what's fallen out! The focus is not on Haleigh now, it's on the 'war' going on between the families. WAY TO GO GERALDO!!! I am sick about that show airing. I'm angry at the bio-mom, bio-grandma, et al for falling for that junk that Geraldo was selling them. He stirred the pot, and they're eating from it. Ugh...

Speaking of money... Maybe this has been asked and answered, but the Geraldo thread is too long, and locked. I wonder if the bio-mom's family took money for the Geraldo interview (circus)?? If it wasn't for money, what in the world would they do something so unbelievably damaging and downright dangerous for? I don't think they've thought enough ahead to realize the damage they've done. But if they did it to raise money to aid in the search, or something like that... well, maybe that's how they justify it to themselves.

I saw the whole interview as if this is what happened: Geraldo and Craig went down to Florida and met with the bio-mom's family. Maybe RC wouldn't meet with him, so he started digging up dirt on him. Whatever the case, Geraldo and Craig got bio-mom camp to sell RC down the river, and Geraldo was doing everything but the happy dance when he realized all the junk he was going to be the first one to get on the airwaves. However, I'm sure he's not the first one to hear it, he's just the first one to report it.

Bio-mom said he was a child abuser, said he was neglectful- kept her out of schoool too much (even though she knows Haleigh has Turners), called him a drug dealer... she did everything BUT call Ron a murderer in one breath, but then she turned around and said "Haleigh is his heart, everyone knows he loves his little girl"... They were coached to not come right out and accuse, but they walked RIGHT UP TO THAT LINE. I was SICK over it.

I just wonder how much money they got to do it, and then I want to know what they did with the money. Ugh. Bio-mom camp has officially made me sick. :behindbar

I have no respect for her. It was all I could do not to scream at the television... "If he's such a horrible person.. what does that make YOU? You lost placement of your children to him!!!"

Mothers rarely lose ALL physical placement, except every other weekend, to the father unless they're a complete train wreck. It's rare to see that happen, so what did she do to lose her kids to a man that she says is a drug addict, a wife beater, and a child abuser..

I should stop talking about this. I agree with the person who said that it makes me sick... in my spirit.

IMO Geraldo tried his best to get Ron to physically assault him. He was really right up in his face trying to antagonize him as best he could. The outrageous questions were not enough, he went into Ron's physical space to further anger him. I'm glad that Ron didn't take the bait. Geraldo was looking for the interview to turn physical to further boost ratings. I seriously think Geraldo is in danger of losing his show. Good riddance.

The whole GR show was ridiculous. He knew he could make big bucks out of a high profile family (at their worst time) and turn it into a Jerry Springer event. Horrible!!!
The media is out there for the money, and some of these people, GR, Jerry Springer, are very low.
We will never see that on Oprah, and she is quality television.

I think it's ironic that GR didn't "mess" with the Anthony's the way he "messed" with the Cummings... He's smart enough to know with the A's team of lawyers he'd be slapped up side the head with a lawsuit in a New York minute. Instead he chose to attack a , lawyerless, defenseless, grief-stricken family. I don't know if Ron's guilty or not but I think this whole thing speaks volumes about GR's ethics and prejudices. The fact that he didn't balance any of this out with CS's and her b/f's record,also says he's a pathetic journalist to boot (since it took a sleuther here no time at all to dig it up)

I was completely astonished that Geraldo was saying the things that he was, and he was right up in Ron's face like that... I was sitting there thinking "Oh no, RC is going to lose it, and then THAT will be the story"... I was very happy that he didn't punch Geraldo. Also, when they were 'escorting' GR off the property, Ron said "I want everyone to know that this is all about my daughter Haleigh" and he went on to say that if anyone has seen her, call, etc.. He put the spotlight right back on what it should have been on. Good Job RC! He said exactly what he should have, and it made GR look like a huge jerk.

He had George on his show last weekend, and George was saying how much he wanted to help Haleigh's family. There was video of George hugging RC. Now, knowing that.. I wonder how George will treat Geraldo after this episode? If I was disgusted by Geraldo's behavior.. what do you think George feels like? This was such a shameless display of character assasination for the sake of ratings, I hope George tells GR off personally.

Anyway... I have been trying to find out whether Fox pays for interviews, etc.. and whether Crystal made any bank off of this. If she did, it's even more sick. I'm disgusted by her, and prior to last night's show, I really felt terrible for her! I still feel awful that their daughter is missing, but it's harder to have sympathetic feelings for her now.
