UPDATED~ MBI Report: No blood found in Casey Anthony's trunk
The State Attorney's Office released more Casey Anthony documents this morning.

Investigators found no blood in the trunk of Anthony's car, the place where detectives believe she stored her dead child's body, according to newly released documents.

An Orange County investigator sent out an inquiry to website, bluestar-forensic.com with the following message: "I am in the middle of a high profile Homicide Investigation where the victim, age 3, may have been placed into the trunk of a vehicle long enough where the odor of death/decomp is present," the message said. "I did use bluestar (sic) in the trunk to detect any blood which was negative."

MBI tracked all the calls Anthony made on her cell phone and mapped her whereabouts and activities by the calls and text messages. The bulk of the 1,100-page report dealt with Anthony's phone records.

Investigators also released the results of some technology unused by them previously in the case. That is, computer-generated video -- a flyover of the area where Caylee's body was discovered in December -- and computer-generated, 3-D photographs of that wooded area off Suburban Drive in east Orlando.

Later this month, a hearing is scheduled to address the defense's request to view the phone records of Anthony's boyfriend, Anthony Lazzaro. Lazzaro is fighting the request.

Parents To Testify For Prosecutors During Trial

The material came on a CD and includes an animation and still photos showing the crime scene where Caylee Anthony was found, photos of the "Big Trouble" shirt Caylee was wearing, e-mails about the case, a 1,100-page investigative report, and a forensic report that includes an analysis of the odor in Casey Anthony's truck.

The animation showed a three-dimensional view of the location along Suburban Drive where Caylee's remains were found in December. Areas circled in purple and marked A through J indicated the spread of bones and other evidence found in the area.

Also released on Friday, a member of the Orange County Sheriff's Office forensic unit said in an e-mail that he didn't find any blood in the trunk of Anthony's car, where they suspect the toddler's body was kept for several days. However, they did say they found evidence of human decomposition and vaporized chloroform.

The material also includes hundreds of text messages. In one Casey Anthony wrote that "There was definitely part of a dead animal plastered to the frame of my car." An agent with the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation called it "suspicious and was believed to possibly be a pre-emptive explanation to the foul smell of decomposing tissue."

Within the more than 1,100 pages released, we discover that the Orange County Sheriff's Office recorded and traced George, Cindy, Casey and Lee's cell and home phones.

Dozens of pictures, text messages and thousands of pages of documents released Friday in the case against Casey Anthony.

Written in bold at the end of a forensic report is a conclusion by scientists that there is evidence that a decomposing body was at one time in the truck of Casey car.

Defense attorneys said science can be questioned.

"There's not been a lot of testing, independent testing of their findings and there has been very little of it in the courtroom so far," said David Fussell.

3-D Movie Released In Anthony Case

The state attorney's office on Friday released more documents, including photographs, maps, e-mails and a 3-D animated movie, in the case of Casey Anthony, who's accused of murdering her daughter, Caylee.

The newly released information includes a three-dimensional animated movie of the area where Caylee's remains were located and an 1,100-page report from the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation.

The photos include images of trash collected as evidence and a T-shirt similar to one worn by Caylee that says "Big Trouble Comes in Small Packages" on it.

The documents also include a report on Casey Anthony's cell phone use. Detectives used her cell phone pings to track her whereabouts around the time that her daughter disappeared

Anthony discovery: no blood in trunk

More discovery in the Casey Anthony case was released by the State Attorney&#8217;s Office Friday. One of the reports released says there was no blood detected in the trunk but there was human decomposition.

The contents of the trunk were analyzed by Bluestar Forensic. Their report says there was no blood detected in the trunk but a chemicals of death/decompositon were detected.

Also included in the discovery are numerous e-mails, 3D imagery of the area where Caylee Anthony&#8217;s remains were found and pictures and a list of the garbage items that were found in the trunk of Casey Anthony&#8217;s car.

Part of the discovery is a 3D rendered movie of the area where Caylee Anthony's remains were found.

Casey Anthony: WFTV notes that she wasn't phoning babysitter

Investigators didn't find any calls or texting to a Zenaida Gonzalez, WFTV-Channel 9's Kathi Belich reported at noon today. Gonzalez was the supposed babysitter. Belich also highlighted that investigators didn't find any calls on June 18 a year ago, the day Anthony borrowed a shovel from a neighbor.

More pages were released in the high-profile case today. Before she got out of jail last August, investigators got a court order to put tracers on the Anthony family's phones and on those of two of her boyfriends, WFTV anchor Barbara West said.

Belich also called attention to a photo of the T shirt that the little girl was probably wearing when she was murdered. It reads "Big Trouble Comes in Small Packages." Belich also replayed the memorable footage when she shouted at Anthony last August: "Casey, did you kill Caylee?"

"She didn't answer my question," Belich said. "But that same day Casey Anthony was released from jail, investigators were hoping her phone calls from home might give them some answers." The court order gave investigators 60 days to follow her calls.

WESH-Channel 2 highlighted a 3-D movie of the crime scene where the toddler's remains were found. "This is going to be the most important battleground in Casey's upcoming murder trial -- where Caylee's remains were found," reporter Bob Kealing said.

He added that the movie shows "the exhaustive amount of effort the state has already put in to document and analyze the evidence found there." Kealing showed snippets of the movie.

Casey Anthony: What do the phone records show? Where's Zanny?

WESH-Channel 2's Bob Kealing looked at Anthony's cell phone records from a year ago when investigators had a secret trace on the phone. Kealing noted there were 167 entries -- and not one for Zenaida Gonzalez or Zanny the nanny. "Sometimes it's what the phone records don't show," Kealing said.

WKMG-Channel 6 looked at the 3D animated movie, too. "It also shows just how close those remains were from the street," Louis Bolden said. Bolden also highlighted that investigators found no blood in Casey Anthony's trunk.

WFTV-Channel 9's Kathi Belich talked to the Winter Garden surveying company that created the 3D images of the crime scene. WFTV analyst Bill Sheaffer said investigators want to show where water would have hidden the toddler's remains.

Belich also highlighted a new photo of Caylee's pink T-shirt with the words "Big trouble comes in small packages." Belich added that Sheaffer described that shirt as a significant piece of evidence.

"George Anthony last saw Caylee alive wearing a pink shirt when she left the house with Casey," Belich said.

George and Cindy Anthony remembered their late granddaughter's birthday with a special memorial Sunday.

"As a lawyer when you have a client incarcerated for the long haul, you want to keep them strong," said Jose Baez, Casey&#8217;s attorney.

Late Sunday night, Baez made a point to visit his client.

"I have some manners I want to go over with my client. Today is a very difficult day for the entire family, so I thought a good distraction would be keeping her focused on the case," Baez said.

Baez has always insisted his client is innocent, and is sure to keep Casey aware of every step her defense team is making.

For obvious reasons, he would not speak in detail about the case, nor would he say anything about Casey's demeanor.

However, he said obviously this is a difficult time in her life.

"You have to keep your client focused and strong. Especially in a case like this where she's facing the ultimate penalty, it would affect anyone's mental health spirits," Baez said.

Caylee's 4th Birthday Celebrated At Morning Service
Friends, Family Release Balloons Outside Church

At Eastside Baptist Church, about 100 people remembered the girl during a morning service.

In attendance at the service were Caylee's grandparents, Cindy and George Anthony, and their attorney, Brad Conway.

Cameras weren't allowed inside, but those who attended said that the girl's grandparents were re-baptized and the congregation watched a video montage of Caylee.

After the service, there was one more tribute.

The group released balloons, many of them purple, which was Caylee's favorite color.

Trenton Duckett's father, Josh Duckett, was also there.

Monday is Trenton's fifth birthday. The Lake County boy has been missing since 2006.

It's a birthday that should have been filled with cake and presents, but Caylee Marie Anthony never lived to see it. Sunday, August 9, 2009 would've been Caylee's fourth birthday.

To mark the occasion, her grandparents-- George and Cindy Anthony, attended a private church ceremony at the East Side Baptist church in Orlando. Sources tell us that the Anthony's were also re-baptized.

When the ceremony was over, the Anthony's along with other church attendees, family and friends, released balloons into the air. Caylee's mom, Casey Anthony, is charged with murdering her daughter.

Balloon Release Marks Caylee's Birthday

The grandparents of Caylee Anthony on Sunday marked what would have been the child's fourth birthday by releasing balloons.

George and Cindy Anthony released the ballons in honor of Caylee, who was 2 years old when she was reported missing in July 2008. Caylee's remains were found in a wooded area near the Anthony family home in December.

The state attorney's office on Friday released new documents in the case, including photographs and 3-D movie of the wooded area where Caylee's remains were discovered. The documents also showed that no blood was found in the trunk of Casey Anthony's car.

Within the past two weeks, George and Cindy Anthony, and Casey's brother, Lee Anthony, were deposed by prosecutors in the case.

Anthony's Tattoos To Be Photographed
Hearing In Case Scheduled For Next Week

A judge will allow prosecutors to go into the Orange County Jail to take photos of Casey Anthony's tattoo.

Prosecutors said Anthony got the tattoo after her daughter, Caylee Anthony, disappeared.

Judge Stan Strickland made the ruling on Monday, the same day he scheduled a new hearing in the Anthony case.

Four motions will be heard Friday, Aug. 21, including a defense motion to certify Tim Miller as a material witness.

The defense is also asking Strickland to bar Leonard Padilla, Tony Padilla, Robert Dick and Tracy McLaughlin from testifying for the state.

The defense said the four had an attorney-client relationship with Casey Anthony.

UPDATED: Casey Anthony hearing set for next week
Lawyers will discuss motions filed by Casey Anthony's lawyer.

Lawyers will be back in Orange County Circuit Court on Aug. 21 to discuss a slew of motions filed last month by defense attorney Jose Baez.

One of the motions asks that Tim Miller, head of search group Texas EquuSearch, be certified as a material witness in the case. The defense argues Miller has crucial information on how efforts were conducted.

Another motion asks a judge to put off the trial in the check fraud case against Anthony.

Baez and fellow defense attorney Andrea Lyon argued they're too busy preparing for Anthony's first-degree murder case to handle the check fraud case.

Meanwhile, Anthony's parents, George and Cindy Anthony, created a stir over the weekend when they were re-baptized in their church. The chose the occasion of Caylee's birthday for their ceremony.

A hearing has been scheduled for next week in the Casey Anthony case. On Friday August 21 at 9:30 a.m., four motions will be heard.

The first is a defense motion to certify Timothy Miller as a material witness. The defense team says Equusearch&#8217;s records on how their searches were conducted are material to Anthony&#8217;s capital murder charge because they directly pertain to the discovery of Caylee&#8217;s remains.

A second motion will also be heard asking that Casey Anthony&#8217;s trial for check fraud be delayed because the defense attorneys say they are extremely busy getting ready for the capital murder case.

A motion will also be heard asking that bounty hunters Leonard Padilla, Tony Padilla, Tracy McLaughlin, and Robert Dick not be allowed to testify for the state.

Casey Anthony: Even the family's baptisms are controversial

Motions by Casey Anthony's defense team made headlines on noon newscasts today.

But another Anthony story -- from Sunday -- was stirring heated conversation on the Internet. On what would have been Caylee's 4th birthday, grandparents George and Cindy Anthony were re-baptized, according to people who attended the service.

In a sign of low regard for George and Cindy, some readers questioned the Anthonys' timing and motives in being re-baptized. I read about this development on the WESH-Channel 2 Web site. And I've heard about it from readers who were outraged.

Were the Anthonys upstaging Caylee on what should have been her day? When your baptisms are controversial, you really have an image problem.

A small win for prosecutors in the case against Casey Anthony. The judge will let the prosecution take pictures of one of her tattoos.

The tattoo says "Bella Vita," which is Italian for beautiful life. Prosecutors believe Casey got the tattoo after Caylee disappeared.

A new order is out from Judge Stan Strickland in the case against Casey Anthony.

He has granted prosecutors' request to get a photograph of Casey's tattoo. Prosecutors said the tattoo is important because it shows Anthony's set at the time she said she was conducting her own search for her missing daughter, Caylee Anthony.

That tattoo reportedly says, "la bella vita," which means "the beautiful life" in Italian. Investigators said Anthony got the tattoo while Caylee was missing last summer. he artists who gave Anthony the tattoo testified that she was calm and cool and did not give any hint her daughter was missing.

Casey Anthony: Is some skin that big a deal or not?

Actually, Anthony has been ordered to show a tattoo. Judge Stan Strickland has signed an order to let prosecutors have her tattoo photographed.

It wasn't that big a deal, though, because Anthony's defense team had never objected.

At a July scheduling conference, prosecutors even let the judge know the issue was moot for that reason.

The tattoo says "Bella Vita" -- which means "Beautiful Life" -- and Anthony had herself inked in early July 2008, shortly after her daughter, Caylee, disappeared. Anthony is charged with the child's murder.

WESH's Bob Kealing noted that the tattoo artist described Casey as calm and cool.

What's the importance of the tattoo? Orlando defense attorney Richard Hornsby, who does legal analysis for WESH, said prosecutors could describe the tattoo as an admission of guilt. "The tattoo is going to be a very critical piece, if used correctly, because it could be argued that is as much a confession as Casey Anthony admitting to it herself," Hornsby said.
