Ok folks..If you look at our member base you will see that there are a few thousand members..BUT..only a couple hundred are posters..most of the member base are people who do not post. like they are just here taking up the bandwidth..so if the member base was pruned on a regular bases then there wouldn't be all these unused hats in the member base..But if y'all like to think there are thousands and thousands of members, well then who am I to come up with a suggestion?

Just a quick FYI. Just because someone doesn't post doesn't mean they are not reading every day. All the time. You would be surprised at how many hits we get a month. It is massive.
If we prune the hats that don't post the mods would be overloaded with complaints.
So yes, "we like to think" there are thousand and thousands of members because, in fact, there are.

Thank you all for the offer of help but as I have stated before. I won't take money for the server.

As of right now I am paying 285 bucks a month. I thought it was 300 but I was off a bit.

The suggestion of turning off our subscribed threads and taking off our siggy pics was made by a very well versed computer person. He has been a tremendous help in the past and this was his suggestion.

Also, a member's husband has taken time out of his very busy schedule to look at the server info itself and add a few things that should make us strong for a long long time.

I would like to acknowledge both of these people publicly but I don't have their permission (yet) to do so.

I want them both to know I am indebted to them. THANK YOU!

Guys, the only promise I can make to all of you is this;
I can do my very best to make sure the forum is up and running and paid for. I will make sure our software is effective and I give you my word that unless I am not on this earth, I will do whatever I can to always keep WS up and rockin'!

Maybe someday I can get back into posting and being active on the forum but for personal reasons I can't do this just now.

Thanks to our great mods for all their hard work. These guys have been up and on the forum almost 24/7 while we got the problems worked out.

Tricia, I just wanted to say a quick heartfelt thanks for all you do for us and allowing us on this great place, WebSleuths. I can't imagine how much of a pain in the behind these problems are for you, and I'm very grateful that you are as patient with it as you are! Tricia, I did not believe that my two little 100x100 pixel siggy pics were the reason the server kept crashing, but since you have posted this I will comply. Thank-you for giving us the rationale from someone who is knowledgeable.

If you go to the bottom and slide the bar over to the right you will see where you can make one click and all the boxes on that page will have a check mark and then scroll to the bottom and click on delete. Then repete on the next page and so forth.
