Prosecutors can be working 200 cases at the same time. I'm not going to consider a prosecutor a liar because he can't remember the details of a murder from 4 years ago. It may be oh so important to some, but the case is over except for tying up loose ends.
Wasn't it Amanda's DNA and Meredith's blood on the floor in Filomina's room?
This is the crux of it. If the High Court has ruled that: " Kercher was killed by more than one person in a brutal and orgiastic attack." then it would take some real independence and audacity to rule now that Guede in fact acted alone, or that 2 others must now be sought in Perugia. This is dark indeed.I think the murderer's parents should be more concerned about the Supreme Court ruling (that Rudy did not act alone) than the fact that the prosecutors that tried the case are consultants during appeal.
Unfortunate indeed. But it blows my mind how some here can defend stuff like the CNN thing... knowing/seeing it is not right, but not admitting it and start bringing up other little bits that can not be proven on a forum one way or another (as evidence of being innocent or 'railroaded').
Why would he be still working on a case that was tried a couple of years ago? The case is over for his part. He's not presenting, or arguing new evidence. There are 2 appeals, but that is only to review a very small piece of the long list of evidence that was presented for appeal by defense lawyers....
If CNN wanted to report news, they would look at the entire case and report the facts, but instead they post pictures of a policewoman kicking in a door to another apartment, and imply that it is the door of the cottage. When they report on the little girl from Seattle, they add photos of the little girl in her soccer outfit. CNN should stop listening to people like Bremner and do a little fact checking. The woman from Seattle was convicted of murder by a jury. CNN should take some time to talk with the jurors if they want to know why she was convicted.
Anything copied over from the "Bruce Fisher" character's blog should be taken with a grain of salt. There is no question that he manipulates and alters information to fit his agenda.
Amanda's DNA mixed with Meredith's blood in Filomina's room means that Amanda was in Meredith's room and Filomina's room after the murder. I don't think it means anything about anyone else.
For Mignini, the case is done. The appeals are nothing more than wrapping up loose ends.
Anticipated but surely even you can not deny that they did in fact use 'trickery'. They actually changed some of his answers and reported to C.Dempsey some rather off-base things regarding Mignini and the case. Not to mention misleading the audience.
If you back 'that kind' of work and presentation, then I really don't know what to say... only there is no excuse for it IMO.
I can only say that they seemed to splice it, so that Mignini came off as less learned, less professional, less sensitive, and more buffoonish. They had their own agenda, as Mignini has his. Mignini in the transcript sounds impartial and sensitive: UNTIL YOU COME TO THE MIXED BLOOD BIT. :banghead:I second Malkmus' request for examples. You keep insisting we "can't deny" that CNN used trickery, but it seems you can't show it did.
Ah yes ... those inappropriate, silly actions during the investigation and trial ... unfortunate facts that have been explained as a teenager doing what teenagers do. Right? Just a liitle girl from Seattle doing little girl things.
I think the murderer's parents should be more concerned about the Supreme Court ruling (that Rudy did not act alone) than the fact that the prosecutors that tried the case are consultants during appeal.

Saturday, court hears request for additional 40 days to complete DNA analysis report.
"In its explanation of its ruling last December rejecting Guede's appeal against his jail term, Italy's Supreme Court in February said that Kercher was killed by more than one person in a "brutal" and "orgiastic" attack."

Your discussing does not matter one iota, what THEY decided does.

It sure is looking that way, isn't it?I agree. Too many powerful persons will be embarrassed if the verdicts are overturned. The Italian justice system is tailor-made to protect powerful persons among the judiciary.
