How does the majority of italians feel about this case? We know how the prosecutors feel!

Yesterday on GMA Weekend, one of the reporters over there interviewed some people on the street and asked how their social circle felt. The majority said that their friends were split about 50/50. It seems like very early in this case, Italians mostly felt that AK was guilty. But it's been so long ago that I could be mistaken.

What the prosecutor was saying is that the location of the prints was inconsistent with someone holding the knife while cutting bread.
I would like to find a disinterested forensic scientist who would say that one could tell whether the print location could tell any such thing. If the prosecution really believed that this humble kitchen knife were the murder weapon, they would have opened it up to look for blood. Instead, Mignini and Comodi got up out of their chairs as if they had just sat on matching cacti to object to such a test.

TRU Tv InSession just stated they will carry it as soon as it starts.

However, they did get blood on their hands from the stabbings. Amanda did leave a trail of blood and DNA. No less than 5 mixed blood/DNA spots were found. The excuse that that is normal because she lived there is an impossibility. A stranger would leave his DNA mixed with Meredith's blood, not AK's. This excuse was already rejected in the first trial and I don't see why it would be accepted now.
sherlockh,

I wrote a blog piece on mixed DNA with citations to the forensic literature. Link here. Not every instance of Meredith's DNA was necessarily her blood. But more importantly there is no way to date either DNA profile.

So we are still waiting? I wonder if CNN has it on their Web connection? I'll go look.

I have CNN on in the background, and they said they would carry the Kercher Family presser as soon as it happens. Sounds like it's taking a while to line up the press questions.

That's all I'm seeing also - it looks like an interview of Meredith's family. What's happening on TrueTV? Is it something different?

I don't understand Italian either :waitasec::crazy: I'm trying to fake it - like lip reading LOL Not working very well.

Hi Nurse! Nice to see you here this morning!

It worries me that they are so sure that the original sentence was just. I feel like if the convictions are overturned they wont be able to find peace and that's horrible.
