Is that Meredith's brother? I didn't know she had a brother? I thought just the one sister.

It is. I think there are two brothers.

They are a beautiful family and Meredith's Mother (the whole family actually) speak with such grace and poise.

Agreed. They are stunning and well-composed, which is extraordinary given the circumstances.

Hey there Salem! Good to see you too! Wouldn't miss this for anything.... I have followed this case from the start...

I used to think I knew what I thought but I am not so sure anymore what I think :waitasec:

I'm curious - what did you used to be sure of?

That's all I'm seeing also - it looks like an interview of Meredith's family. What's happening on TrueTV? Is it something different?

I don't understand Italian either :waitasec::crazy: I'm trying to fake it - like lip reading LOL Not working very well.

Salem

Tru showing same but right now Family is speaking themselves

Nurse, I have followed the case but mainly lurked on this thread. I'm still fairly solid in my belief that they are guilty. I know that is not a popular view here but it's what I think... I just wanted to state that but I really don't want to start WW3 on here - I totally respect both sides. The other side has some good points, also. I think it's been hashed out pretty well on here so I don't see the need to do that again, as we're all entitled to our own opinion. :seeya:

(BTW, even though I quoted your post, I'm not saying all of that to you but just in general to the thread...)

that Amanda Knox was guilty

Yeah me too. I was convinced it was clear cut.

Now I see how both could be strongly argued for, though my personal belief has done a 180.

Interesting. What was it that changed your mind?

Wow, I have never seen so many active users on this thread at once. Not highly surprising, but still shocked me when I scrolled down just then!

So the video has stopped for a minute and the numbers of the persons linked up appear to be climbing rapidly. I hope the link can hold up if everybody tries to sign on at once. :gasp:

Salem

I love that little gaspy guy LOL

1 sister, 2 brothers, Meredith was the baby of them all. :(

I'm more anxious than I thought I might be. I am wholly 100% on the fence as to their actual guilt or innocence but I am not happy with the evidence at all.

I dont know how I feel really but I will be crushed if the verdict is not overturned, I think.

I was happy that Arline kept coming back to the idea that the evidence is all that we have. I was not happy with Meredith's brother making a reference to a PR campaign. At least he did not say million dollar PR campaign. A few months ago there was a bowling fundraiser for the Knox family. That won't pay for a private jet or a supertanker.

Many things. Mainly that a lot of the most compelling reasons to surmise guilt were proven to be false eg buying bleach, the clarity in whether or not the break in was staged. The more I dug into it, the more I found I had been misinformed by the press, until it got to the point where I just had to throw out all preconceptions and start again.

In starting again, I was never quite convinced to build up a strong case against the two and the idea of RG as a lone killer just seems to ring true to me.

Yes, I can relate to what you're saying. As much as I believe in their innocence I do not claim to be 100% certain of it. However, I feel convinced enough that the idea of them remaining in jail at this point makes my stomach go all funny and heavy.

I suppose my gut feeling is that they should be acquitted.

they have to release Amanda!

So there are judges AND jurors deciding together??? So different than our system......

Ugh, this wait....I can't imagine what the families are going through.

Is it possible to have two different decisions or, since the trial was for both of them, does the decision have to be the same?
