(Two OT comments: (1) my mom is arriving tomorrow and I sooooo need to clean house - but can't tear myself away until the verdict is given, and (2) I don't know how NG is going to be able to dance tonight, depending on what verdict is given... Sorry for interjecting - back to the verdict!)

BBM...now that made me laugh! Thank you!

I no longer watch FOX News but am curious as to what their perspective has been

They've been covering it all for the past hour and a half. Started with Megan Kelly. Covering how the prosecution defamed her really bad in the press. The family hiring a PR Firm. Anne B. Spoke about how she never confessed to anything and basically gave the family side. Talked about how Italian Court works. What could happen, all the different scenario's

He is. And if they are innocent as many believe, I think he was found guilty merely due to his association with her, which is horrible. I always felt I'd like to hear more from him, more from his family, more pleas to the public and the government. I think they could have done a better job getting his message out there.

I think it was very difficult for his family to make the same protestations, being in Italy. Raf's sister was a member of the carabinieri, fired after he was arrested. Last week the prosecution played bugged phone calls between members of his family who were heatedly cursing and vowing revenge against the officials who did this to their son. Why that was played as evidence against him is baffling to me...

As much NG as I watch, I am ashamed to report that I can not remember her opinion on this case.

I can't recall NG's "opinion" either on this case ...

Judge has tremendous influence on how vote goes. Judge gets 2 votes. Vote does not have to be unanimous. Per MSNBC

They seem to have taken some lessons from the mayhem at the trial of the first instance where it was chaos. Keeping media etc behind barriers, not allowing footage inside the courtroom till the judge and lay judges arrive

Police, Kercher family/lawyers... all just arrived.

I don't agree because Casey Anthony exhibited many of the same behaviors, including throwing innocent people under the bus- except for her family, defense team, and the jury, I think it is safe to say 99% of the American public do NOT excuse her behavior!

BBM:

:rocker: Good point ... and that's is what got me the most with Amanda -- when she "threw" Patrick Lumumba -- an INNOCENT MAN "under the bus" !

MOO ...

Prosecution can appeal this decision if it's not in their favor. Amanda would be extradited back to Italy. Per MSNBC

I think the court will uphold her conviction

Fun fact: I read TMZ earlier and took their poll. As of that time 69% of the people who took the poll thought Amanda was not guilty.

What? Why was Pete kicked out? And who is Pete? I'm assuming he's the reporter for the site I'm watching...?

Kercher family looks confident to me. I could be wrong but that is what my eye see's.
