Meter Reader (RK) Transfered for his own safety

No one is attacking your integrity, I am questioning your information. You did say that BC called him a liar and cast suspicion on him and that is not factual.

If you don't call saying you have a credible witness that can prove RK is lying about when he was there, and saying that there is more funky information to come out about him, casting aspersions or suspicion on him, then I don't know what to say.

I think LE not checking properly makes LE look bad, not RK. I think it was BC that made RK look bad. When a lawyer goes on national tv and calls someone a liar, most people think the lawyer is not making it up. With LP, I think everyone takes him with a grain of salt....his statements do not carry the same impact with the community as a lawyer stating he knows more funky information will be coming out about him and that he has a credible witness to RK being in the area other than what he told police.

And I never said BC called him a liar...you are again misrepresenting what I said. I told you that it was basically that, that I didn't have the link handy and that I'd get it for you cause someone else asked for it last week. After spending about 20 minutes finding it for you, I discovered that the person who accused me of making it up and demanding it last week was also you. And i found it for you and gave it to you then also. A thank you, not an attack, would be in order, imo.

:waitasec:

IIRC RK was not listed on the prosecution's witness list - so, LE and the State Attorney's office believes he is not involved in this - period. Good enough for me.

In case this isn't abundantly clear, IMO

Funky = suspicious

I have a credible witness that can prove he's lying about when he was there = he is a liar.

Bc works for the client - he does what they want and says what they
want . He can do this as part of his job without actually believing
any of it.
He should be given the same credibility you afford his clients.

Well I am reading that you believe the 911 call discounts the supervisor/neighbor theory.

The information I was going on is based on two things. One, a quote from LP on NG, (here's the transcript):

NG: Do you believe the meter reader contacted the family?

LP: I think he contacted his supervisor, Scott, who lives right down the road from the Anthonys.

NG: I couldn't hear you. Contacted the supervisor, what?

LP: I think that he`s contacted and talked about it to his supervisor in August. The supervisor, Scott, lives right down the street from the Anthonys on Hopespring. And he was also back out there not only on November but he was also back out there the last weekend of August, the 29th or the 30th. The meter reader was out there in that...

NG: Here`s video of the meter reader. So you think it`s possible he contacted his supervisor, who may have contacted the family?

LP: I think he talked to the supervisor, and I think the supervisor knows the Anthonys, yes.

The second piece of information comes from my own review of the people who live on Hopespring Drive, finding a Scott A. and a Scott S., and then googling both to see if I could find out something about where they worked. Once I figured out which one it was, I googled some more for confirmation that he did in fact still live on Hopespring, which he does.

I am not sure this information is quite ready for the Mythbusters Thread :) but I do feel confident that Scott, the supervisor, does live on Hopespring Drive.

Hmmm. I went back and listened to that call one more time- can you tell if the supervisor was also on the call- I know that MR called his supervisor, wonder if they were all on the line together? Otherwise, the coincidences would be just too great, the supervisor and the dispatcher both being from Hopespring! Thanks for the info about what LP said.

No, where I drat live makes no sense, but where I grew up-lived makes sense. Perhaps he thought it would sound better to substitute lived for grew up- makes him sound more adult

At any rate, my point is that the dispatcher is the one talking, not the supervisor. Just trying to prevent a misunderstanding about what is going on, and it seems very likely that this is the source of the belief/myth/rumor that the supervisor lives in that neighborhood. I would be happy to see any other possibility of why this story has been occasionally repeated, though.

I say the following with respect to you. I completely disagree that the supervisor/dispatcher says "grew up" and "lived". I hear him say something unitelligible that sounds like "drat" and then "live". My belief is that the person is saying that they presently live on Hopespring.

I saw that you posted this in the myth buster sticky thread. That thread does not allow discussion. This means that I cannot challenge the validity of your myth busting by engaging in discussion. That thread is designed to only contain self-evident myths and their linked debunking.

Your debunking of this myth (somebody at the county water meter agency lives on Hopespring and is an Anthony neighbor and was recorded in this audio) is not simply based on your link to the audio... it is based on your personal interpretation of what is being said on the audio.

I disagree. I think the person on the audio does presently live on Hopespring, and they mention it to Kronk on the audio.

I hear all three of them on the call. And I think the supervisor says "where I grew up - live."

We know the supervisor was on the call. Is the question you have whether he or the dispatcher is the one who says they grew up/live on Hopespring?

Orlando Sentinel

Kronk was reassigned to a different position within Orange County Utilities -- working in inventory control. He will be working in a warehouse.

Evans said Kronk made the request to be transferred before he discovered the remains.

"It's something that he wanted to do before any of these things happened," Evans said.

Maybe Kronk's move indoors wasn't entirely based on a fear of being bothered or harassed.

"grew up"

You and Morag hear two words (syllables). I hear one word/syllable that sounds like "drat". That isn't a word that makes sense in context. My opinion is that he starts to say a word and instantly stops before he gets the word out of his mouth, or there is an audio glitch making the spoken word unintelligible.

No, I just wasn't sure that it was a three way call, and it seemed unlikely that both the supervisor and the dispatcher were Hopespring homies! If it was the supervisor speaking (and the supervisor does live on Hopespring), then my premise was incorrect, and the dispatcher doesn't/didn't live there. I guess the supervisor is the one who speaks strongly and gives the cross streets, etc. I haven't seen this part of the conversation transcribed anywhere.

With my headphones on it sounds like he's saying "where Adrat (Odrat?) lived"

He was talking about KC on Hopespring.

"Where an odd rat lives."

I don't know where the various ones of us who are discussing "Odrat" live, but if there is a native Orlando/Florida speaker among the group, perhaps we could properly interpret the phrase. My Texas ears hear "whur Ahgrooup-
live(d)."
