I find the revelation that her green card needed some sort of action very interesting. Taking off for a 3 month jaunt seems ill advised when one needs to be working on their resident status?

Boy is this a weird case, and it just keeps getting weirder.
Sumthin's not adding up folks, aside from everything that is.

Why am I starting to believe that aside from suffering from "unclear thinking", Jenny was "up to something?"
I really hate thinking that way, but more and more details keep emerging that are implying subterfuge of some sort.
So so strange.

I could be misreading it, but I got the impression from her Weibo post that her visa was extended to 2/2017 while they were processing her 10 year green card. Was she required to stay in the U.S. and work on something during this time or was the extension more of a courtesy to her while INS did its work? I wish I knew more about how the immigration process works. Jenny could be misrepresenting the INS letter in her post. I don't know.

If there were further conditions she had to meet in order to get the 10 year card, it certainly was ill-advised to take this trip, on this account alone...leading to more "what was she thinking?" What kind of subterfuge are you mulling over?

I'm ignorant when it comes to green cards, but I found some info that may help answer your question about her green card status. According to Jenny's writings on 12/12/15:

http://weibo.com/p/1001603919220546113863?mod=zwenzhang

I don't know if she mentions it again after that date. I can search later, but life is calling right now.

Thank you!! I missed that :). So her 10 year card was in process, & her conditional card was extended to February 2017.

ETA: the rest of that "blog" entry is interesting too.

BBM: it's this, which is perfectly normal procedure. There is, normally, an interview during the process (not always), but there is no requirement to remain in the States while the removal of conditions is in process. If she hadn't had her interview (again, not everyone is interviewed), missing it could be a problem.

Slowpoke's discovery answers the questions that I had about her GC status satisfactorily. Unfortunately, it doesn't add anything either way to any theories/speculation I might have.

Thanks Lillibet. While I don't wish him ill and certainly don't wish Jenny ill, I sincerely hope JR is on the up and up and just has been slow to receive information from the Mexican government. *coff*

About his travels, in my opinion any actions he takes in his private life are not ours to judge. He earns money and has money, and can spend it how he wants. If he needs a massage that's his business. If he has a gofundme account, who's to say those exact dollars were spent wrongly. Semantics maybe, but again - he obviously has an income and can spend it how he wants (not that I condone prostitution, and certainly if he thinks Jenny was trafficked he very well should not be supporting the very industry that may have taken his wife). But I digress...

If someone is getting a poly in the near future, that means drivers were identified and the Mexican LE is doing their job. If, if, if. Between (all of) you and me, I don't think there's even a remote chance that drivers were identified because I don't think they exist (in the manner of this case). I guess we'll see if I'm proven wrong. I will hold my breath.

No. You don't ask for donations when you have money to spare. Period. Sorry. No skiing vacations, no trips to the Bahamas, no "massages". Go find your wife.

People ask for money all the time, when they have plenty. i can not tell you how many wealthy families open gofundme accounts to send their kids on a school trip to Washington DC, when those same families are the ones in the big house, Mercedes and BMW cars, landscapers, maids and constantly shopping and eating out at fancy restaurants. Some of these people are my friends, and I have donated. Is it okay? I agree with you with a firm NO! Is it happening everywhere? Yes.

Did he go skiing and to the Bahamas too? I missed that! Links please.

I'm not the OP and don't have links...But as far as I can determine, he went skiing (probably locally) shortly before Jenny was missing. I don't have a clue about the Bahamas and see no evidence of it. Perhaps it wasn't meant literally. You can't be faulted for spending money before you know you'll need it. Personally, I wouldn't immediately try to raise funds if I had money, but we don't really know JR's financial situation.

But the "massage" was clearly intended to be more than a simple massage or JR wouldn't have gotten busted in a sting and that occurred while he was raising donated money. I fault his judgement and ethics on that count alone, and I can't brush it off as unimportant or no one's business. But I've moved on and hope for good news at some point.

JR initially was looking to raise funds for a ransom - long before Corona became his main target.

Then the 🤬🤬🤬 page evolved into hiring investigators in Mexico and lunch dates there.

Nothing new on FB. I guess the polygraphs didn't happen on the schedule JR thought they would. I wonder what the hangup is. I kind of suspect it's JR's insistence on a third party witness or LE breaking promises. Another waiting game. :waiting:

Hmmmmm. I thought Scott Peterson was bad for being on the phone with his mistress while at his missing wife's vigil. Hmmmm

But even if JR didn't have anything to do with Jenny disappearing. Nancy Grace still would have simply said Bombshellllllllllllllllllll.

Lol.

Just speculating ;)

Does he have money to spare? He has a job, that's some money. Is he working FT or PT? What does he do for work? What is his income while he's in Mexico?

Has anyone ever seen any communication between JR and his own family?

I think he is a tech or communication contractor or something. I don't know. But he did travel several places for his previous job. I think that's how he went to China in other places. But I don't know what he really does for bills at this moment.

But I'm sure he must work if living in the Seattle region.

Question. Did JR have more than 1 billboard put up. And is that billboard in town still up.

Has anyone called the tip line for the pesos. How many volunteers posted flyers throughout Mexico and where.

Does he need more flyers or volunteers to put them up. Are we done with the billboards for now after the 1 placed in a town where the driver was not at.

Has his witness pointed out 1 of the 2 drivers that were questioned or not yet polygraphed.

I've seen his Dad and brother comment occasionally on the HFJ page.

We can check out his Link'd In if we're curious, but can't post about it. I'm sure this has been a big hit financially that he has to cover mostly out of pocket. There is no way the 🤬🤬🤬 is paying for the PI and attorney and trips. And as an aside, Jersey Girl is correct that the 🤬🤬🤬 was originally intended for what he thought would be ransom, if necessary, not expenses that one would try to cover on your own.

On that note, I need to point out that I found it odd that JR initially set up a 🤬🤬🤬 page for ransom money. Why not initially set it up and say to help cover expenses, find a pi, followher steps and travel to Mexico, etc?

Maybe he is doing the best he can, albeit making mistakes. I'm grateful I'm not in his shoes.
