It's the first search for this group, so probably why we haven't been able to find anything on it. From the itinerary article:
This Friday (May 12), the first International Caravan of Search in Life begins, in the city of Torreón, organized by relatives of missing persons and will conclude on May 22 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila.

This event brings together families from different states of the Republic and abroad who will tour the municipalities of Torreón, Saltillo, Monclova, Allende and Piedras Negras, with events on various topics related to forced disappearances of people

Tag line for the other article: Caravan of Mothers of the Disappeared

Another article, which appears to include a couple of the same people. The details in the article lead me to believe killing people there has become commonplace and might have become widely accepted and not necessarily punishable at this point.

Thank you. I agree that killing is likely no big deal. I intended to post this yesterday. 250 skulls found in Veracruz. This is the state JR's suspect truck driver lives in FWIW.

Snipped by me:

I found this news article. Maybe it's the one? This one is taking place currently, from May 12-22 in the northeastern part of Mexico. The article even mentions two people from the United States taking part in the Caravan, however it says they are from Illinois and California ( and not Washington, where JR is from).

Found this daily itinerary of the caravan. What an emotionally draining experience it must be. I feel for them all.

Great work! I think this must be it. Perhaps JR hadn't joined it yet when this article was written. Please post any future articles about this if you find them. I think GigTu is right that there hasn't been much publicity since it's the first one of this particular caravan. These poor people!

If Jenny doesn't have dental records on file or if Johnny doesn't access them: Then he probably would never be able to identify her if a burnt body or skeletal remains are found.

So does JR have her dental records for comparison just in case they find a mass grave site of skeletal remains?

Could Jenny have been trafficked?

She's so little.

Her NamUS profile says that DNA has been collected but not filed and that dental records are available and will be entered later. The next step is to get them on file so identifying her would be quicker.

That is what JR is claiming happened. I believe that is opinion has now changed that she is dead. Her family and friends in China do not believe that.

Her family and friends don't believe she's dead or don't believe she was kidnapped?

Is there an MSM link to the family's sentiment?

The only information we have is what the Chinese Embassy reported. The family was told by LE that she was still backpacking. We have no information about whether the family believes it or not.

The fact that JR is participating in a caravan looking for missing ones who might have been sex trafficked tells me that he holds onto hope that she's alive, even though he has a "suspect" in her disappearance. But we have had no MSM about Jenny for many months.

JR reports from Mexico very enthusiastically. He wants to start a foundation in the U.S. to support this group. I think he is in the back row on the right in the photo.

For those without FB...
Had an amazing trip to Torreon and Saltilo with the "Caravan of Life" I met with international journalists, doctors, investigators, and independent missing persons groups. This was a life changing experience. I had a chance to bond with the other families that lost loved ones. I am going to take the message to the USA to get justice for those who traffic and enslave women!!

Thanks, Lilibet. Looks like we found the right "caravan".
Here's an article whose photo looks to be from the same room as the one JR posted. I think you're right about that being him in the photo. https://translate.google.com/transl...5/16/caravana-busca-desaparecidos-652988.html

In this link, I think it could be JR in the first video, at around 1:58, going into the bldg. (a church, maybe?)

Ha! Looks like YOU found the right caravan. Well done! Don't be so modest. :D

I agree that it's looks like JR in the video. The narrator says something that sounds like "Reinhard" just as he walks up the steps.

JR is asked in the FB comments if he thinks Jenny was trafficked and he says he does..."No sense killing a girl when you can make money."

This had to have been a very difficult trip for JR, but he seems inspired. In a way, I think he's making a positive shift. It seems like he can expand his focus on Jenny outward to a wider issue and make a difference to others while looking for her, even if he never finds her.

Right after I have sex with one of them.

Yeah, right.

Yes, the irony of his Chinese massage parlor sting arrest last summer isn't lost in all this. Those ladies could have been trafficked, just like Jenny could have been. So I hope his involvement in the caravan has created a seismic shift in his understanding of the implications of what he did. Some people need to be hit over the head before they get it and I suspect he's one of them. Here's hoping JR can make a difference and turn whatever happened to Jenny into a life of serving others.

From what I have read, they believed that she was alive and well and continuing to travel. I have seen no indication that they have changed their minds about that.
