Great post Affirmation!
I agree that the timing of Jenny's disappearance is hinky; this is why my top theory is that she was trekking across Mexico to make a decision about JR, and not being afraid to venture in life without him. I truly think (at least hope!) she is in Wenzhou, and think that is quite likely. The fact she didn't give him her phone number and then vanishes right before they are supposed to meet up is quite telling.

Dang it! I didn't even notice - I swear it was autocorrect.

Lol.

I was going to say something. But my sponsor advised me not to.

Lol.

But seriously. Lilibeth rocks.

Agreed. Unfortunately, regardless of what did or didn't happen, this has aired his dirty laundry and it's a smelly heap. I just spent two days reading every post on this and while it seems like it should be so obvious, something feels so off. Maybe I just want it to be off so there's some hope Jenny is somewhere happy.

I wonder if the Seattle police knew at the time that his wife disappeared in Mexico just months before while supposedly going to visit him?

Because imo. If she vanished in the States and it was in the news while hubby got busted at a palor: Than it is very likely that warrants would have been issued to search his phone, Internet, and social media usage to see if anything was related.

Because usually the number 1 motive is hubby was spending funds on escorts and exra curricular activities that he couldn't afford. Jmo

Did John encourage her lone Mexico trip, meet her somewhere unexpectedly & disappear her, arrive later to meet her and act surprised when she didn't show? Is this all a convoluted front? This guy doesn't seem true blue.

That social media page that was created with her typical user name a week after she went missing really needs to be explored. It's possible her family was using it to fish, but I don't see any point (and I don't know Chinese social media at all to know if there's any significance in that specific site). It's possible she did create it and then realized she was actively being looked for and just as quickly abandoned it. So frustrating that the only people who would have standing to get info on the account apparently don't care.

Agree. A poster from here has specifically private messaged JR about that site to see if a possible was in play.

But so far it doesn't look like JR even replied back to them about even checking it out or nothing at all.

So we are bewildered with that as well.

JR is shown holding a poster about Jenny early in the video and is interviewed later, criticizing the police. Allowing for the possibility of editing, I have to say that I don't recall JR ever talking about what Jenny may be going through (or has gone through). He always talks about how awful its been for him. Another oddity.

JR was interviewed by a French journalist based in Mexico City.

No man who has lived in Asia would mistakenly go into a massage parlour thinking that the establishment only offered massages.

And if he was wandering around drunk, I imagine it was at night. Legitimate massage places are not open until all hours of the night.
I think he knows where she is and how she got there.

Yes, that was a really lame excuse JR!

The thing that gives me pause about possible JR involvement is the way he pushes and criticizes the police. With their reputation for corruption, wouldn't they try to pin it on him? The husband is usually the first suspect anyway. He's never mentioned LE questioning him or anything. If he's involved, he's playing a very dangerous game.

ETA--I have to say that with all of JR's criticism of Mexican LE, you'd think he would have mentioned how unfair it was that they investigated him in Cancun, if they did. It's also odd that he never mentioned being questioned at all when he made his missing person report. They must have checked his movements. You'd think he'd mention that (and say how awful for him it was) and say that of course he had been cleared. But then, JR rarely gives information that normal people would. Or maybe Quintana Roo LE dropped the ball.

I lived in Asia for many years and saw many, many JRs. I saw lots of men marry Asian women, and, unless the couple are in the same age bracket, they never work out. Well..................unless the male is so old they are not going to be around for long. And I have seen a few 80 year old's marry 22 year olds.

I expect they knew about Jenny since he had reported her missing to the Seattle PD. But the sting he got caught in was huge, so it could have been overlooked, I suppose. He has a long list of traffic tickets dating back into the '90's which would have shown up easily. He does not seem to think that laws apply to him. And he racked up a lot of fines, which could have made things tense at home...they would have if he were my husband!

But I just don't think he's involved in Jenny's disappearance...unless he's another Mark Seivers. Wouldn't that be bizarre! I'd better stop!

Hubba Hubba.

Sign my old behind up. Lol

Just kidding.

Yes. Mail order brides are definitely out there in different forms.

But maybe they were the real truly in love couple at first.

Not the same as mail order brides. This man was working in China. I have several friends that I still keep in touch with, who were young men who married young women around their own age, one couple have been together for 15 years and the other for 13 years. Happily married. It is the ones with large age differences that don't work out.

I'm sure that it seemed like a good idea to Jenny, when she married JR. But after a three years of living with that narcissist, I think she just wanted to get as far away from him as possible.

This one?
https://www.facebook.com/groups/helpfindjenny/permalink/816920111816368/

Or this one? I couldn't figure out why he was explaining that it was taken in Mexico City.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/helpfindjenny/permalink/816968345144878/

But then I looked at the guy's FB page and realized he is part of the caravan. He has a post about Jenny, quoting JR saying...

" I never knew how strong he was my love for my wife, until I lost her. Baby, please, come home "

(I won't link the page directly)

So is "Baby, please come home" indicating he knows she left him?

By the way, :welcome: Let us know your thoughts.

I think the more significant part is that it's a direct link to the 🤬🤬🤬 page instead of the Find Jenny page (since he is no longer needing to hire a PI).

I was referring to the second one with Jenny in the orange blouse. Thank you for finding that link with the caravan. I wasn't sure how to interpret the guy's message-if he was somehow taunting JR- & it creeped me out.
Thank you for the welcome! I've been lurking here for a long time. What I think is pretty much what you all think: it was not a wise thing for Jenny to attempt this journey by herself & she has met with foul play; OR, she was done with her previous life and marriage & figured out a clever way to escape. The pleading quote above could actually be quite telling in the latter scenario.

You're right. That slid right by me. Funding has slowed to a drip, not even a trickle. I just read every single one of his 100 updates and the quote on this guy's post of JR asking Jenny to come back is actually an old update, not a new comment.

I wonder if he ever paid the PI...he was way behind paying him months ago.

This is a fundraising update (#82) I don't remember seeing on the HFJ FB page. It's from about three months ago. I know 🤬🤬🤬 is off limits, but I'm going to post it anyway because it fills in some blanks and answers questions we have. It also convinces me that JR is not involved in Jenny's disappearance.

We are at a standstill in the investigation until we get the police ( they are they only ones who can do this) to extract information from the primary suspects. We also need to obtain vital information from one source ( I can't publicly say which) I am trying to be patient and allow the authorities to do what was promised by the new administration.
What has been done:
Interviews and testimonies by witnesses
Interviews by Corona truck drivers
Jenny's entire route has been mapped and witnesses along the way have been deposed.
Pressure on Corona itself to cooperate.
Testimonies by all who met Jenny along her trip
Jenny's bank information has been examined
Jenny's cell phone information has been examined
GPS data (some) have been examined
I have personally traveled to Mexico 8 times to meet with prosecutors and much more off the record.
There is more to do to discover what happened to my wife, but we need to have the police do their part. Once we have some answers from the suspects, there will be a complete new case and lots of work to be done. I am not and will never give on on Jenny.

I remember reading that a little bit back. I was going to do a map of Jenny's travels but I never did. I'm not sure I care or that it matters anymore.

If Jenny met with foul play I don't think she will ever be found and I don't think JR will ever see justice.

If Jenny ran off, I strongly believe she would stay in the US. She fled China because she hated it and I don't think she would go back. And JR was her ticket to the US. If she ran off, she would have the mentality that he served his purpose and now she has moved on. That's a shittty way to treat someone, but I know things like that happen.

I also think that if she did that, she simply found a new sugar daddy to use. And she would repeat the process until she was financially secure enough to be on her own. Seems she would still be searchable by Qun Dan Chen unless she legally changed her name, or took on a fake ID. The latter is entirely possible. Either way, I don't think she is "Jenny" anymore, but possibly some other cutsie name. She seemed to be charming and I don't find it impossible that she convinced someone to help her set that up. And if she did that, I'd put money down that she's reading here.

Some time back I described a situation with a man I knew. He brought over a mail order bride from Ukraine, and her two teen daughters. They were all three far too beautiful to possibly match up to this backwoods, old old man. But he believed he had a true marriage and he was all in. She took him for everything and was really cruel to him. Her daughters were beautiful monsters. Women prey on desperate men in this way, just as men prey on desperate women in other ways. It is not ever going to change, because humans are selfish survivalists. And our methods are often unexplainable dirty.
