Truer words never spoken Gigtu.

I think you've summed it up perfectly, GigTu. I'm pretty sure she met with foul play. That doesn't mean that this trip wasn't a vacation from JR to sort things out. The meetup in Cancun might have been a way to make a final decision and to let him down gently before ultimately disappearing in NYC. She's charming and quirky, but she's what I call a "user"...she used her charm to use people so they would give her freebies. So I can totally see her doing this with the next guy...if she survived. That's so sad about the old man you know.

I'm not sure why this train wreck of a case has sucked us in for this long. We keep hoping, I guess. And there are so many mysteries about it that we wish we could solve, but never will. Jenny, where are you?

I remember reading that a little bit back. I was going to do a map of Jenny's travels but I never did. I'm not sure I care or that it matters anymore.

If Jenny met with foul play I don't think she will ever be found and I don't think JR will ever see justice.

If Jenny ran off, I strongly believe she would stay in the US. She fled China because she hated it and I don't think she would go back. And JR was her ticket to the US. If she ran off, she would have the mentality that he served his purpose and now she has moved on. That's a shittty way to treat someone, but I know things like that happen.

I also think that if she did that, she simply found a new sugar daddy to use. And she would repeat the process until she was financially secure enough to be on her own. Seems she would still be searchable by Qun Dan Chen unless she legally changed her name, or took on a fake ID. The latter is entirely possible. Either way, I don't think she is "Jenny" anymore, but possibly some other cutsie name. She seemed to be charming and I don't find it impossible that she convinced someone to help her set that up. And if she did that, I'd put money down that she's reading here.

Some time back I described a situation with a man I knew. He brought over a mail order bride from Ukraine, and her two teen daughters. They were all three far too beautiful to possibly match up to this backwoods, old old man. But he believed he had a true marriage and he was all in. She took him for everything and was really cruel to him. Her daughters were beautiful monsters. Women prey on desperate men in this way, just as men prey on desperate women in other ways. It is not ever going to change, because humans are selfish survivalists. And our methods are often unexplainable dirty.

So what exactly do you think happened to her, after she disappeared? Did she just cash in her ticket to Cuba and immediately return to the US without telling JR? Some media reports say that she was still in Mexico two months later.

There seems to be three possibilities if she ran away from JR.

1. She could have returned to the US, without telling JR. I think this would have been very difficult for Jenny. Since she had employment issues in the US and limited assets. Unless she had help from somebody, she would probably end up homeless.

2. She could have stayed in Mexico. She seemed to have a strong interest in Mexican culture and learning Spanish. If her only goal was her dislike of China, and not returning to China, staying in Mexico would have been an option for her. Especially since life in the US was not working out for her.

3. She could have returned to China. This would have been the easiest option for her, since she has family and friends there who could help her. Just because she doesn't like living there, doesn't mean that wouldn't be the easiest option for her. Personally I'm not too thrilled with living in the US, but this is the country I was born in, so this is where I am.

In my personal opinion the probability would be, 3, 2, 1, in that order. Also fake IDs and sugar daddies are not easy to get. Fake IDs are expensive and you need connections to get them. Sugar daddies exist, but the competition for them is strong. A Chinese woman trying to connect up with an American sugar daddy, would be difficult.

JR posted this story (untranslated) about a 15 year old girl recently rescued before she was sex trafficked, and said this is what he thinks happened to Jenny. He wants to talk to the girl and ask if she saw Jenny. Someone said it would help to be able to share the story translated to English and she didn't see a translation option. JR blew her off and told her to run it through Chrome like he did. She replied that she gets it but others might not. Earth to JR...help people who are trying to help you! :banghead:

What if the sugar daddy was not American? What if she thought he was going to be a sugar daddy, but he ended up being her pimp? We could play this all night and never know.

Me? I dont think she left Oaxaca alive. WHO saw her last? WHO says they saw and heard her talking to Corona drivers...... across the street. WHO got snaked by frugal.... no, cheap Jenny?

I think the shopkeepers know where she is, and I think they used Corona as a scapegoat to deflect. And, I think the Corona drivers have something else to hide that's probably not related to Jenny, so they are skiddish because they still don't want to be questioned.

You're right. That slid right by me. Funding has slowed to a drip, not even a trickle. I just read every single one of his 100 updates and the quote on this guy's post of JR asking Jenny to come back is actually an old update, not a new comment.

I wonder if he ever paid the PI...he was way behind paying him months ago.

This is a fundraising update (#82) I don't remember seeing on the HFJ FB page. It's from about three months ago. I know 🤬🤬🤬 is off limits, but I'm going to post it anyway because it fills in some blanks and answers questions we have. It also convinces me that JR is not involved in Jenny's disappearance.

We are at a standstill in the investigation until we get the police ( they are they only ones who can do this) to extract information from the primary suspects. We also need to obtain vital information from one source ( I can't publicly say which) I am trying to be patient and allow the authorities to do what was promised by the new administration.
What has been done:
Interviews and testimonies by witnesses
Interviews by Corona truck drivers
Jenny's entire route has been mapped and witnesses along the way have been deposed.
Pressure on Corona itself to cooperate.
Testimonies by all who met Jenny along her trip
Jenny's bank information has been examined
Jenny's cell phone information has been examined
GPS data (some) have been examined
I have personally traveled to Mexico 8 times to meet with prosecutors and much more off the record.
There is more to do to discover what happened to my wife, but we need to have the police do their part. Once we have some answers from the suspects, there will be a complete new case and lots of work to be done. I am not and will never give on on Jenny.

Okay. So he says her bank accounts and phone were examined?

By who brother Jonathan?

Because the U.S isn't investigating her case at all. And Mexico would not have the access to exam things that the fbi themselves usually need subpoenas for.

So let me guess. He personally examined them and narrated things to fit his agenda.

Now. How come her social media and internet searches wasn't examined if some professional agency examined bank and phone records from a telephone number that he supposedly didn't have?

Okay another thing.

He says that everyone who came in contact with Jenny during those last days were depositioned?

Is he serious? So the shopkeeper and the second supposed witness plus the store clerk that had the out of order ATM; All traveled how many miles to be depositioned?

And I bet 200k that him nor his lawyer can show us a redacted copy of these supposed depositions or the copies of the testimonies of the 2-3 supposed witnesses that took place.

Anyways. Imo. Jenny probably could have walked back across the border without i.d.

Because she has the gift to gab. Plus 1000s sneak into the United States from Mexico everyday. So why not Jenny?

This article really shows that the Chinese do not take criticism well. This young woman gave a speech at the University of Maryland graduation paralleling China's air pollution with restrictions on free speech. Uh oh. She was blasted even by her peers on social media, just as Jenny was, and ended up apologizing. I can't imagine Jenny wanting to go back to China.

Her speech became one of the hottest topics on the internet in China, with posts about it having been viewed more than 50m times by Tuesday.
Many Chinese social media users were angry, including fellow Chinese students at the University of Maryland who made their own YouTube in which they accused Ms Yang of "false statements".

You know, that is a really profound question.

EIGHT trips to Mexico? I wonder if his passport supports that. Or his job. Or his finances.

  • #891
  • #892
Third. And what happened to all his connections in Mexico, the people we saw he eat with in multiple settings - and who were most of them??

You mean his attorney, Corona and Kugar people? Maybe they enjoyed a free lunch and disappeared without helping. I've also wondered what happened to the HFJ page watchdog CN.

I'm not sure if I should take your comment literal or not. But there is no limit to the amount of times a passport can be used. Budget travel expenses in Mexico is about $40 a day, plus about $400 airfare (Seattle - Mexico City). Anyway I believe JRs supporters have paid for most of his trips. $40 a day x 10 days = $400 + $400 airfare = $800. $800 x 8 = $6400. That still leaves him over $2000 for back rubs, before he has to start paying for his own expenses.

Maybe her new initials are MD?

Wow. Nailed it.

And guess what. I think he has someone out there. Because. Where the heck is the hotel photos at.

Btw. Remember when he said that he missed a meeting with the prosecutor because he missed his 2nd flight 2 days after already being out there?

Well geez. Why didn't he go straight out there to begin with instead of doing who knows what in other parts of Mexico.

Btw. That was like his 5th trip down there and his p.i and lawyer been out of the picture at that point.

So once again; Where does he sleep at there and in what towns?

Because we know that he isn't doing air bnb like brave jenny did to save money.

Idk

This is new on the HFJ page.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/helpfindjenny/permalink/818156495026063/

Lots of interesting comments, and I almost feel like JR might be on to something.

Ole good lordy.

I would probably take him more serious if his facebook profile picture still didn't consist of him and ANOTHER Woman that he is not kin to. Jmo.

Wth. Your spouse is missing and possibly murdered or sex trafficked in another country.

But 14 months later; You still don't have the decency to show respect and take that other gal out of your Facebook avatar that blatantly shows ya having a wonderful time on the slopes?

Okay. So Johnny has deleted Jenny's Facebook pictures and any negative post or threads on the Find Jenny page.

But hold up.

He still thinks that his skiing trip pic with that other gal should rightfully stay up as his facebook avatar while asking Facebook users for help to find his missing wife?

Wow.

He obviously knows more than us.

Because I have never seen not 1 help find my wife Facebook page where the hubby kept his avatar pic of him and another lady on a skiing trip for the entire 16 months that his wife was missing and presumed dead or abducted and sold.

Wow. Jmo.
