The girls, aged 11 to 14, were leaving a Speedway in Millington, Michigan, when they noticed they were being followed by a man, police Chief Jason Oliver told BuzzFeed News.

The man, 22-year-old Bruce Hipkins, grabbed the 11-year-old by the head and said, “You're coming with me,” said Oliver.

“That’s when the struggle started,” said Oliver.

The girls allegedly fought back, punching Hipkins over and over, and threw coffee and a Slurpee at him.

Hipkins was arrested on several charges, including kidnapping and assault with intent to commit sexual penetration. He is being held on $250,000 bond.

Great idea to toss hot coffee onto him.

My kids were always sent to the park with an uncapped plastic lemon juice container for protection. (with a buddy or two of course)

The plastic lemon containers look like a tennis ball and the juice 'takes care of' both four legged and two legged dogs!

Lemon juice will sting but not cause permanent damage. A dog will run away and a person will place their hands onto their faces. It will buy the kids a bit of time to run and yell.

Hot coffee is probably better........lol

Solidarity with these four girls! When I was assaulted by two men, I managed to get rid of one by throwing a large Hungry Jacks (Basically Burger King in Australia) at him and he let me go. It's always been the best part of the story to tell people about the ordeal.
