SS is irritating. It seems like she’s posturing for the media at times. I can’t listen to the impact statements. It’s too hard. I’ll just follow here. I’m eager to see how much time the judge gives them. I like the judge’s assertive manner this morning. I don’t think she needs to throw the book at them but I don’t think time served is appropriate either. I think she’ll go with 5 years. They’ve already done 2 and will be out in less than 3 years. JMO
Matthews was certainly well prepared to shoot down S & L's objections.

I think they needed to be secured. Everyone else is moving freely about the courtroom during this break. Feed is still live. SS took the opportunity to freshen up her makeup.
Thanks.
Waiting for her to whip out her wipes and do her armpits again.
The day is young. lol

Impact statements now....

Madison... passionate.... touching words from her mom...."so lucky to be her mom"... "I mattered because of her".... "as her mom I didn't protect her"....

Thanking LE and the prosecution....

References Jennifer saying she wouldn't change a thing...

While you were.... I was......

This is heart wrenching....

What Mafison's mom was doing, thinking.... while the Crumbleys were contributing to what happened that day. .

When you texted your son "don't do it", I was texting my daughter, "I love you. Call me".

This makes it real. So very painfully real.

Madison's mom continues laying the timelines side by side. While You Were buying burner phones, I was lying on the floor. I forgot how to talk.

You wouldn't change anything. I would.

Madison's mom asks for a life sentence because she's been given one. A life without her daughter.

Justin's mother... best son... brave, spent his last moments protecting another student. His future was bright...

Ripple effect of Crumbleys' inability to act has devastated us.

This didn't need to happen.

If only they had....
If only they had....

Justin's mom reads a letter Justin wrote to his mother.....

Then she addresses the Crumbleys:

It doesn't appear you wanted or cherished your son. But I wanted and cherished mine.

Did she actually do this? :|
I embellished a bit..lol
In the courtroom she whipped off her blue jacket took a wipe and cleaned her neck then flipped her head over ran fingers through her hair then put her jacket back on.
Not sure if that was before or after her giving the bird to the courtroom.

It's on TikTok..poster ediblethoughtsss

Well I’m listening after all and wow! Jill Soave “you didn’t want your son but I wanted mine.” Wow.

Jennifer’s comment that she wouldn’t change a thing has made a huge impact on these families, understandably. That was a huge error on the defense side. The arrogance is astounding. JMO

Father of Justin speaking now....

Describes his grief... pain anger heartache regret anxiety

Every aspect of his life has been impacted by this tragedy.

They failed to parent, failed to get him the treatment he needed...

And she wouldn't change a thing...

Dumbfounded that Mr. Crumbley would shake his head as the verdict was read....

The blood of our children is on your hands too.

No remorse, maximum sentence...

Blatant disregard....

A child deserves to have someone to follow, to learn how to be....

Go home, hug your child.....

Did they say how many oral victim impact statements there would be? Does anyone know?

Wondering if SS was an appointed lawyer or hired by JC? I’m thinking SS sought to be her attorney just for the high profile nature of the crime.

Hannah's sister says she never got to say good bye. Thought the best was yet to come with her sister....

Shot four times...

Hannah always said she could outrun trouble but she couldn't outrun the gun you bought your son.

You failed as parents.

Your mistakes created our everlasting nightmare.

The maximum 15 years isn't enough. Hannah didn't get 15 years.

Calling out [I assume] the attorney for rolling her eyes was *chef kiss*

Will JenC speak today and try to back-walk the lack of remorse and arrogance she displayed on the stand?
