Roseville boy, 4, fatally shot by sibling; father arrested

...At around 8:40 a.m., Chang left the handgun on a bed and went into the bathroom with the mother, Glandon said. That's when one of the siblings picked up the gun — a small frame .22 caliber semi-automatic handgun — and it discharged, striking the boy.

Chang's bond was set at $150,000 cash/surety, and he was ordered to have no weapons and wear a tether if he posted bond. He will appear in court for a preliminary hearing at 8:15 a.m. on Dec. 26.

Police say the charges may be modified as the investigation continues...
