WHY??? Why would he kill 2 women, WHY?
I just read this and do not understand WHY.........
so senseless!

I believe there are things below the surface that we may never fully know. And, yes, it is senseless and tragic...

I thought I read somewhere that the cousin came over to borrow something. Maybe whatever it was that he wanted to borrow was at a different location and AH went with them to get it. Just a thought.

Yep, I think that he was in an abusive relationship with his girlfriend, that Amy knew it and tried to help her leave, and he somehow convinced her to go with him in the car, took them home and killed them both.

He knew when her husband would leave for work and that the kids were gone. He knew he could get her. Interesting, though, that it seems as though he took her from the back of the house. Maybe he snuck up on her from there with a gun and forced her to leave?

Why did he think he would get away with it?

Wasn't it stated at the beginning that James and his family had spent the previous night prior to AH going missing at relatives? Maybe the cousin was at the relatives that night and asked if he could borrow something sometime. Again, just a thought.

Welcome, 4carlie!!!!

:seeya:

I, too, wonder about the three of them leaving together. It seems that perhaps she knew and was friends with the GF. And since she left her purse, I'm thinking she thought they were going to run an errand or something like that and then returning shortly.

I have a feeling that she was not forced out of the house. Of course, I could be wrong and it's just a gut feeling -- that she would have bolted. Maybe I guess it's because I feel that most adults know that your greatest chance of surviving is NOT going with someone with a weapon, or who is trying to abduct you, because once you're alone and away from anyone else, then your chances of surviving are nil.

I don't know if we'll ever know the whole story unless JLB tells all. Even then, who knows if it will be the truth.

:(

I am wondering about this same thing beli. Why, even to run an errand, would she leave her purse at the house? What could they have been doing? We know it appears the murders might have taken place at the trailer due to the blood pools and dog tracking but I wonder how they ended up there?

I just don't get the purse being left. Maybe I am too obsessed with bringing my purse everywhere I go lol. :waitasec:

This article says she initially went willingly with Beebe. Also says he has been charged with TWO counts of open murder.

Bradshaw said Howarth was with Beebe when he picked up Henslee Monday morning at Henslee's home. Investigators said Henslee initially went willingly with Beebe, and they believe the women were killed shortly after. Beebe drives the black truck witnesses said pulled up at Henslee's house.

This is so horrible. I remember reading in the beginning they said they watched football on Sunday with family. I wonder if that meant this family (this cousin and his girlfriend?) and they were all together that day watching football? I wonder if Amy saw something she didn't like and said something to the other girl about how he treats her and he got angry and came over on Monday? :-(

The impression I get from all of this is that whatever took place Amy must have thought she would be right back since she did leave her purse behind.

MOO, but I think the "borrow something" excuse by the cousin was not a truthful statement. Just my opinion.

We are not sure if the cousin admitted to being there "to borrow something" before he was questioned and quite frankly I don't think he did since it was several days before the property was searched- this is just my speculation.

Amy may have already been outside trying to take care of the dog when the cousin pulled up. Maybe she never went back into the house.

I wonder if she left her purse behind so her husband would know something was wrong?

This very well could be! Speculation---He pulls up, "Come on, let's go to breakfast" and she says "Let me get my purse" and he says "Naw, I am buying, let's go"

That, too, is a possibility. Good thought.

I would like to know more about James' relationship with the cousin. Were they close like brothers? If so, did the cousin feel the need to villify himself as well as James at the same time for something Amy and Tonya may have done?

Was the cousin somehow jealous of James' and Amy's relationship? Angry he couldn't find a girl like her so in anger with his own gf decided he'd take them both out?

Were Amy and Tonya plotting against him for Tonya to leave him as some have suggested?

So many questions and so few answers here.

Sigh.

You just wonder what was going on in the girlfriend's head at the time they stopped at Amy's house-did she know "something" was up at that point? Obviously, I am just wildy speculating at this moment but did he tell her they were going to borrow something from Amy's house....who knows? Was he angry at that point? Were both these victims completely snowed until the last moment?

I hope that eventually we do know the truth.

Makes you wonder why the cousin focused in on Amy of all people.

I think we're saying the same thing -- that she went willingly. I was saying that if she had been forced by someone with a gun, then I think she would have bolted once outside. KWIM?

If she knew or even thought something was wrong, why would she have gone "willingly"? I don't think she saw it coming... JMO

As for the two counts of open murder... I'm still wondering if he may be telling the truth? Just a thought here, but perhaps he forced one woman to kill the other, thinking that she herself would survive... only to find out he had another plan. Of course, he could be lying about only killing one of them, but this thought did occur to me. I'm sure an autopsy of both bodies with gunshot residue and other forensic testing will hopefully tell the full story.

JMHO and speculation here.

I guess we'll just have to wait to try and figure this all out. None of us have the answers and it is all strictly speculation.
