The sister of the man in custody in Van Buren County tells News 8 police told her, her brother confessed to one murder. Two bodies found. 2 minutes ago via web

If he confessed to one murder, I wonder who murdered the second woman? He might be telling the truth.

The second victim has not been identified. A teenager on scene said it was her mother, who was dating Beebe, but those details have not been confirmed.
Officials are expected to hold a news conference between midnight and 7 a.m. in Paw Paw to discuss further developments. They originally planned for it to happen between midnight and 2 a.m., but it was pushed back as investigators continued to work in the wooded area of Van Buren County.

BANGOR TOWNSHIP — A suspect is in custody in the disappearance of Amy Sue Henslee, Van Buren County Prosecutor Juris Kaps said early today.

A medical examiner arrived at the scene early this morning as police investigators continued to search for evidence in a wooded area off County Road 687 in Van Buren County.

BANGOR TOWNSHIP — An unidentified family friend said late Thursday that the search for missing Hartford Township woman Amy Sue Henslee “is over,” and a medical examiner arrived at the scene early this morning as police investigators continued to work in a wooded area of Van Buren County.

Sheriff Dale Gribler declined to comment early today about the investigation into the whereabouts of the 30-year-old Henslee, a stay-at-home mom who has been missing since Monday.

Police planned a news conference for early Friday, but Gribler said shortly before 1 a.m. that crime scene technicians still had a considerable amount of work to do at the scene.

Maybe they want to make sure there are not more bodies before they have the press conference? Have as much accurate information as possible first...

If I could have made a single wish and blown out 61 candles on my birthday cake, I would have wished for these crimes to STOP and NEVER happen ever again! None of us - or our children, grandchildren - should have to exist in a world where there sometimes seems to be so little regard for human life. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of victims of crime and their loved ones who must learn to cope in the midst of tragedy.

Tonight on the way home from looking for one of the endless missing children... we saw the first star in the sky.

We don't often see the stars, because we aren't often out of the city. My girls got really excited.

Star light, star bright,
First star I see tonight,
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.

I wish
it was that simple. Especially with the frustration of knowing that boy wouldn't be home tonight and Amy's boys would be mourning their mother.

This just rips my heart out.

After 12 years of loving her and being dedicated to her... James will never hold his wife again and it isn't fair.

Thursday afternoon, James Henslee, 32, sat in his kitchen, as friends and family members waited with him and a steady stream of reporters walked in and out.

He spoke softly, his eyes watering, as he clutched a brown paper napkin in his lap.

“I need to hold her,” he said quietly.

Behind him on the refrigerator were photographs of the couple’s two children, Ja***, 10, and Jo***, 8, flexing their arms in their wrestling uniforms and their perfect spelling tests.

Jeepers that's sad-those last words about needing to hold her had me in tears, it's so awful what has happened to this man and the other woman's family, I am so sorry for them

A family spokeswoman who showed up at the news conference says they still believe Amy is alive. She doesn't believe the body found is Amy. Still waiting for the News conference to start.

Police found two bodies -- one likely belonging to Amy Henslee, a missing woman -- buried on some land belonging to some of her husband's relatives, investigators said late Thursday. The daughter of the other believed victim was told by police both bodies were found underground on the Bangor Township property. Officials are still processing the scene.
