wonder wth is goin on with this guy?? unfortunately men kill their girlfriends/wives all the time (and it is horrible) but i wonder how amy wound up in this?

ok so now he is going to be charged with both murders. glad they finally got the 2nd name out as we were all sleuthing it before but could not say the name.

He had confessed to killing his girlfriend Tonya but not for killing Amy. Looks like he killed both of them. Due to comments on a newsite earlier tonight, we thought it may have been a love triangle, as in AH and BJB together, and some sort of altercation came from this..

There is definitely more to this story.

Maybe they want to make sure there are not more bodies before they have the press conference? Have as much accurate information as possible first...

I willing to wait for accurate information..

should explain to everyone, earlier tonight is for me. I was madly sleuthing as it was 6pm onwards and the night owls were still up sleuthing as well, but one by one they said their goodnights (was early morn for most of them) and now you are all awake and I am about to go to bed.

so goodnight everyone, very very sad story and 5 children have just had their lives changed forever.

A family spokeswoman who showed up at the news conference says they still believe Amy is alive. She doesn't believe the body found is Amy. Still waiting for the News conference to start.

Sad. Sounds like denial. But the police have consistantly said since last night that it was Amy.

My sincere condolences to the families of both women.

I'm willing to bet that the cousin was abusive to his g/f and Amy was trying to help her or console her.

My daughter Amy was in the same type of situation. A friend was in an abusive relationship and my daughter offered her a place to stay. All was good because the friend's husband didn't know where my daughter lived. But, the wife finally talked to him and I immediately contacted the friend's mom and asked her to please take her daughter in because I was fearful of what the abusive husband might do. (My Amy was 9 mos pregnant at the time and ended up going into labor within hours of the friend going to her mom's.)

Just an idea,
fran

Good Morning America just reported that her body and that of her friend were found and her husband's cousin is in custody.

Checked their website - no video up yet of the story, but I watched the clip.

So, so tragic...

Body of Missing Michigan Mother Found Buried With Another Woman's BodyPublished January 28, 2011|

Amy Sue Henslee, 30, was reported missing on Monday after her husband, James, said he returned home to find her gone (Van Buren County Sheriff's Office).DEVELOPING: PAW PAW, Mich. --

The bodies of two women who were apparently shot to death, including a 30-year-old mother missing since Monday, have been found buried in southwest Michigan.Van Buren County Prosecutor Juris Kaps told reporters at a news conference Friday that the bodies of Amy Sue Henslee and Tonya Howarth, 36, were found in Bangor Township, about 60 miles southwest of Grand Rapids.Kaps said a cousin of Henslee's husband, Junior Lee Beebe, 34, has been arrested on two counts of open murder and two counts of possession of a firearm during a felony. He was expected to appear in court later Friday to be arraigned.Investigators believe Howarth had a "dating" relationship Beebe, Fox17Online.com reports. Both women died of multiple gunshot wounds and investigators believe both died at the same time on Monday, according to officials from the Van Buren County Sheriff's Department

.James Henslee, 32, told investigators that he last saw his wife at home at approximately 7:30 a.m. Monday when he left for work. Henslee said he called the house about three hours later and no one answered the phone, according to police. Henslee then said he drove home to find his wife gone, with her purse, wallet and ID still inside the house. The woman was reported missing at 10 p.m. Monday after a search by her husband and other family members yielded no sign of her.Read more:

I wonder if he did not go to Amy's house saying that Tonya was sick or something to lure her to go there with him...From all aspects it seems so out of character that Amy would leave the house? JMO However, there in lies the why would he kill them? A crazy world we live in now!

If he confessed to one murder, I wonder who murdered the second woman? He might be telling the truth.

It will be very interesting to see who the victim is on the one homicide charge. For some reason I think he confessed to killing Tonya.

I do find him confessing to one murder and not the other very puzzling. He knows one murder like this can get him LWOP so he had nothing to lose by confessing to both if he killed both.

I think there are a lot of things about this case that are unknown now that would make it clearer if we knew them.

IMO

ITA...and after watching the presser I think LE has some idea of the "motive" in this case...

I just got up after following the activity on here most of the night. Am I correct in what I'm reading....the family believes she's alive and the suspect says he only killed his girlfriend? What is going on?
