The prosecution built a mock-up of the trailer where Beebe sometimes stayed, placing it in the courtroom so jurors could see the space where the suspect says the shootings occurred. [LINK]


Earlier in the day, though, Kent County Medical Examiner Dr. Stephen Cohle said Henslee had bruises on her body that seemed to come from a blunt force object, and that those bruises happened just before she died. [LINK]

I was wondering too. I could not watch or follow yesterday. No news accounts or twitter messages mention her seeing another woman in the truck - not saying she didn't testify that she did, its just not reported anywhere I can find. Every brief mention of her just states that she saw who she assumed to be AH get in the truck. Its an important piece of info if she saw TH in there too...but I also assume JB's mother's story about taking TH to pay a ticket was checked out and validated, so maybe she was not in the truck when JB got to the Henslee house.

Looks like due to some evidence stipulations (agreed to by Def and Pros), 6 Pros witnesses will not be needed. Pretty sure that's what they just said - audio is bad unless speakers are at their mics.

Witness has shotgun in a box in front of her on the stand, has identified it. I wonder of TH's finger prints are on it or not.

witness: buried with bodies was quickcrete, receipts, clothing, black latex gloves, a lighter, shotgun shells.

witness was unable to get a good print off the gun (only partial ridge), says the success rate of getting prints off a gun in any case is only 10%. I think I heard next witness is firearms examiner (for gunpowder residue) they are leaving the gun up there. Defense wanted clarification that this does not necessarily mean someone wiped the gun down - witness agrees.
