For that to happen, I'd think he would need to be a big time drug dealer (like in the movies). In reality, drug dealers aren't keen on going to prison for kidnapping children.

IMHO - daddy did something to little Biance and disposed of her body. Now if only someone could find her!

MOO

Mel

I tend to agree that beautiful Bianca is likely deceased. Dad's story was hinky from the start and has only gotten hinkier with the constantly changing stories. jmo

Thank you, I was looking for that - but I had his name mispelled.

In the jail record it's spelled Dandre. In the media it's spelled 3 ways:

Dandre, Deondre and DeAndre

Odd. Just my first impression but his pic looks like the POI sketch to me.

JMHO and an odd thought I had. It means nothing.

OMG! I thought so, too, but wasn't brave enough to post it. Great minds... ;)

Out of here for a while to watch a classic holiday film with DH and sip some fine red wine.

How heartbreaking. Why would/could anyone ever harm a beautiful little innocent child like this??? But it just keeps happening! Why why why why why why why why WHY?????

C'mon Detroit, $17,500 for information. That's a house and a downpayment on a nice car, in today's economy, especially in Detroit. That's enough to get rid of a child support warrant, if you happen to have one. That's enough to live real nice for a while. All you have to do is make a call, you can even do it through crimestoppers and no one will EVER know who you are. That's the money for the best Christmas that your kids have ever had. All you have to do is make one phone call. Just one. The easiest money you've ever made in your life. Just call.

Worth repeating and enlarging. NMK, there are so many different numbers for crimestoppers across the country, can you please find and post the correct crimestoppers number for Detroit? I always like to see the telephone numbers posted for quick easy reference.

thank you! :blowkiss:

I'm suprised LE is being so tight lipped. Did he confess, is he saying anything? Any additional clues to bring in tips (besides a red boxy type car). For someone who provided so much detail about the perp, he suprisingly knew little about the car.

And only 1 person so far has been known to have seen dad that morning driving by. Where is everyone else? Why is the girlfriend being so quiet. Where is the media?

So frustrating!

Mel

I wondered the same. This case is no where near cold, so why no media?

I don't get this. I thought he was carjacked when he was leaving the home that morning. But that was Mitchell street and he was jacked 2 hpurs later on Beaubain? So what's up with that?

I'm not getting what "Bianca leaves A home."

BBM

What home was it, Dad's, mom's, friend of Dad, etc., ???????????????

Honestly, I thought the very same thing. The nose and lips are a perfect match. UGHHH!

"Bianca was just learning how to talk and when she saw those pizzas she yelled, 'pizza!' and I told her one had bacon and she yelled, 'bacon!' When she was asked to say her name, Bianca, she acted as if she had never heard it before. But she knew bacon."

From The Detroit News: http://detnews.com/article/20111203...-help-as-police-continue-search#ixzz1fVTHAxai

Someone help me out here. Why does the above statement that I bolded make me very uncomfortable?

I thought it sounded a little odd, but she was probably really young and maybe they had cute little knick-names for her. Possibly she wasn't sure how to shape her little mouth and tongue to say "Bianca". She had probably never said it before.

Not necassarily true. My boyfriend is paying child support on both of his kids, both in MI, in two seperate counties. They each get similar amounts. ($140/week on one child, $180/week on the other.) Filing dates were two years apart. They both get the same amount out of his garnished wages. Same thing with my ex, who is paying on three children, one in the state and two in other states. When he does bother to get a job or get hauled in for non-payment, the money collected is split evenly. The only issue I can see is that the one he is living with might get some jealousy from the one (or more) that he isn't living with and directly supporting. MOO.

ETA: If it does come out in some way that this whole thing was related to child support, DL is dumber than I thought. He had Bianca with him for a week. Once a parent paying child support has the child in their physical custody for 7 days or more (MI law) they can file to have their support payments stopped, and child support reversed and paid by the parent that does not have physical custody.

DL is a drug user who just got out of prison. I don't know how long he was in, but he was just getting to know his two-year old daughter (Bianca). Any idea what he does for a living? Several children with different mothers. Not exactly your ideal man. What's to fight over?

OMG, I must have missed that post. If you recall there was a video posted here in which Bianca's mother and uncle were talking about the call they had with Bianca. The were saying how smart she is and how she knew so many words, etc., but when the reporter asked them what she had said to them on the phone, they shrugged and said, she just talked...words... she just talked." Now I wonder if it was the other child speaking.

I thought that the father may have been abusing Bianca and didn't want to take her home until her bruises were gone, but then he kept disciplining her (or whtever) and it went too far. Too many injuries to hide.

I feel for Bianca's family they seem like a very nice family and loved her and cared for her. So very sad.

I know I am way behind in reading this thread, so forgive me. When was Bianca's dad released from prison. Do we know that yet?

I read the articles posted here by others, and I always read comments that follow the articles. Those readers are saying the same thing.

Recently, but I'm not sure when. I just checked his Facebook page from the link posted here, and he looks like a respectable, upstanding man. I can't imagine what went wrong.
