I know they say love is blind but my gawd. What in the world was she doing with him? He had no job, he's a felon and he's so frugly. JC in my opinion is a pretty woman.

Sorry to be so graphic-but can someone tell me where it is stated that AB dismembered & put in the stove? Is this a fact?TIA

It is a fact that the remains were ' burned beyond recognition.'

IT is speculation, I believe, just how that happened.

It is fact that the construction workers smelled burning flesh that late afternoon.

It is speculation that the fire used was the cook stove in the kitchen because it is the only known source of fire we can see in the home. And if that is the source of fire, then his body was a little too big to fit inside in one piece.

Upon request from Chambers, Binder only considered offenses that Bennett was convicted of as an adult, which under Michigan law is considered age 17 or older.

Wininger said Bennett has had seven run-ins with police since age 17.

<modsnip>

He was arrested in April 2010 during a traffic stop while he was on probation for a family violence charge, Wininger said. During that traffic stop, he was in violation of his probation for riding in the car with his sister against the court's order.

Bennett fled and fought with police before being arrested on that occasion, Wininger said.

A urinalysis test revealed marijuana and synthetic marijuana in Bennett's system in January 2012 and again on April 2012, Wininger told the court.

He did not complete a court-ordered mental health assessment in 2012, Wininger said.

He served another 15 days after a probation violation in May 2012, Wininger said, and noted several other offenses Bennett had as a minor.

According to witness interviews, Bennett also assaulted animals on two occasions in the past, Wininger said, noting a possible correlation with abusing animals and abusing people.

I've highlighted several key points in the news story above. Can someone tell me why this guy was allowed to violate his probation over and over? He serves 15 days in May and is released?

Jaimee honey what were you thinking? You knew this guy was bad news. This is who you wanted to hold up as an example to Carnel, even encouraging him to call AB his "step-dad"? All of this is too late for sweet Carnel, but I truly hope you go forward in your life knowing that a Mother is her child's lifeblood. Literally ...

Katy, I'm not under the impression a cook stove in the kitchen was used.

The pipe I saw on the top of the home was what I think is a wood burning stove. We have one and use it to heat the front part of our home. Much more efficient than a fireplace.

Who is Auggie?

Also, to clarify... Frank Cloutier said there was a small group of people there.
Yes, Kevin Chamberlain and Tommy Chamberlain said they were there on the porch with Carnel right under them all along. Someone even looked under the porch, but they were looking for a live kid hiding.
Nobody said they were living there.
After a while it became more clear.

We should know from following and sleuthing stories that MSM is often a crummy source and facts change because they never were facts at all.

Also, the pic of Jaimee at the vigil doesn't look like she is pregnant. If she does they all do.

Here is the Case Archive. Everything from day 1 to now:

Was AB ever charged with cruelty to animals? Didn't a family member accuse him of killing a dog and burning it? I don't see this in his past charges.

It is my understanding that this is a no death penalty state, and if so, the court has a short list of death penalty qualified attorneys that it can appoint to the defense. Since it is a court appointed attorney I assume he is paid the current going rate for court appointed attorneys. I doubt that he was a privately hired attorney in the Underwear bomber's case either.

My home state of Michigan was actually the first state to abolish the death penalty. The only exception is in regards to federal crimes. For federal crimes, the death penalty can be pursued. You are correct--it is more difficult to find an attorney experienced in capital crime cases in the state of Michigan.

A few more remarks considered rumors that were taken from "Comments" sections of news in links.

It is interesting to note that commentor "George Lucas" remarked that his real name is "Tommy Chamberlain" in the Nancy Grace/HLN link.

George Lucas

Commentor says he is the uncle of Carnel Chamberlain.. I hope Nancy talks about how he was killing cats and other animals. who whould let someone around a kid that does that? Says he didn't believe it himself until he saw a dead animal in a fire pit. Says he had a record and we all knew. He said many times to be careful with this kid. The kid told us he didn't watch Carnell for only "15mins" like that's not long. And he also told us he was on a trampoline and then he said he wasnt. Commentor says if he had nothing to do with this, then he has taken a lot of energy and focus off of what did happen. And yes! the pool was getting drained the same day we found out he was missing. Says he told that to the police and they also thought that was odd. Says he wished he could call Nancy but my family thinks I'm going to be too mad. I hope someone sees this and talks about it because its all true.

Commentor "J" says this is so unfortunate. He could be living a great life right now. Says her/his aunt and uncle had this little boy as their foster child when he was just a baby. Says they loved him dearly and wanted to adopt him. Says the next thing you know they are giving the mother back little Carnel.

Says my family was devistated then and just beside ourselves now with all this news. Horrible and tragic. Says laws need to be changed about giving these children back and not checking up on the situation. Says besides that, who lets their boyfriend put their hands on their child, leave bruises, and the child is telling you he's mean and yet he's left with the child! I'm beside myself.

I am bringing forward the Nancy Grace transcript link and snippets from the transcript posted by katydid23 for discussion and comparison with the criminal complaint, which I will post next.

The NG transcript was long but interesting to read. I also watched the HLN/NG interview with Jaimee. I feel that a lot of information was learned from that interview that Jaimee was not aware she was providing. The interview transcript is worthwhile reading.

IMO ... It only took a few minutes into the interview to feel that Jaimee did not appear to be sincere ... she rambled a lot, so I wondered if she was drugged ... she was not providing consistent information ... and my intuition was she knew a lot more than she was revealing. I missed the part where and if she called NG a liar. Notice where she describes the harsh spankings of Carnel which resulted in his buttocks bruises. The harsh spankings are not in the criminal complaint. Also, I was not aware that Jaimee and AB had talked on the phone while she was at work and he told her the child was missing ... that was another change from her arriving home and finding out then.

this one? I think it is the only appearance:

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1206/29/ng.01.html

CHAMBERLAIN: The only thing that we recently started doing was, like, Anthony started, like, spanking him and started disciplining him. And we started putting him in the -- like, we`d been putting him a chair in the corner to discipline him. That`s the only thing that recently has been going on between him and Anthony that I know Carnel is upset about.

GRACE: Well, OK, let me ask you this, Jaimee. What would set Anthony, the boyfriend, off? Why would he feel he had to discipline 4-year-old Carnel? What would Carnel do to make him feel he needed to be spanked?

CHAMBERLAIN: I don`t even know because even at times, I`d tell him -- I asked him, why is he disciplining him. And like, he`d tell him to go sit in the time-out chair just because he`d be crying for a reason that he doesn`t want -- like, if he doesn`t want to do something, he`d just start crying, and Anthony would just put him in the chair to, you know, put him time out because if he`s crying for no reason.

GRACE: OK, what about spanking him? Why would he spank Carnel?

CHAMBERLAIN: That much I don`t know. I know when I noticed the bruises on his butt, like, he tried demonstrating it for me, and like, I seen him, like, put a lot of force into it. And I asked him, I was, like, Why are you spanking him that hard? I told him (INAUDIBLE) you just need to tap (ph) him (INAUDIBLE) I don`t know -- you know, a powerful spank, like it was to a point where I noticed there was bruises on his butt.

GRACE: OK, Jaimee, Jaimee, your boyfriend was spanking the 4-year-old so hard, it left bruises on his behind?

CHAMBERLAIN: Yes, it did.

GRACE: What, if anything, did you do about that?

CHAMBERLAIN: Well, I didn`t think of -- I really -- at first, I didn`t think of anything of it, you know, until, like, you know, after all this happened. But I just thought, you know, maybe he spanked him hard to where, like, you know, Carnel (INAUDIBLE) learn it.

But I know how my son is, and I know you just have to talk to him about it. You know, I tried telling Anthony that, You don`t need to speak him. Like, Carnel is able -- you`re able to talk to him and he understands right from wrong.

GRACE: Well, I have a concern if he would spank the boy hard enough to bruise his little booty, that`s pretty forceful, to get bruises on your rear end.

CHAMBERLAIN: Yes. Yes, I recently just -- I recently noticed this about - - it was about a week ago when I noticed the bruises on his butt.

GRACE: OK. So that`s been in the last week?

CHAMBERLAIN: Yes.

GRACE: When you asked him about it, what did he say Carnel had done to deserve a spanking?

CHAMBERLAIN: He hasn`t -- he hasn`t really explained to me why. He just said that, like -- I know one of the times is because he didn`t clean his room. And he said, I keep going in there and asking him, and he`s not doing what I`m saying. So I know he spanked him because one of the times just because he wouldn`t clean his room.

GRACE: (INAUDIBLE) your 4-year-old would clean his room?

CHAMBERLAIN: Yes. Yes. We were training him to be a grown man. And we were -- you know, he`d clean his room. We trained him to put his toys (INAUDIBLE) like, in the (INAUDIBLE) We, you know, got him to where he was getting his trash in the trash can. We were pretty much making -- trying to make him do chores and stuff at 4.

GRACE: Let me ask you about Carnel.

CHAMBERLAIN: OK.

GRACE: How long has the boyfriend been living in the home? And did that bother your son, your 4-year-old son, when he moved in?

CHAMBERLAIN: Well, he moved in -- we started -- we dated about seven months now, and we moved in with each other around -- about the end of February or March. And this is the only man that my son has called Stepdad. He`s the only man that -- since his father has not been around, this is the only guy that Carnel felt comfortable enough to call him Stepdad.

GRACE: Well, did he ever complain about Anthony spanking him or being mean to him?

CHAMBERLAIN: (INAUDIBLE) he had complained to me about him being mean to him and stuff. And I just told him, I was, like -- you know, I was, like, You should just listen to what Anthony`s trying to say to you. Because I thought it was just him being -- you know, Carnel being, like, you know, a little boy trying to say, No, I don`t want to clean my room, you know? But I didn`t think of nothing like that until now

JfC, since you are speaking with TC.

Can you clarify please; was Carnel living with his Grandmother prior to May of this year?

Yes he was. He has only been in Jaimees care for ONE month. TC said Jaimee took Carnel back from her because they were in a fight and it was Jaimees way to get back at her. Grandma was also in Texas because her mother is dying and was going to get him back in 2 weeks I believe. Carnel only was suffering with AB for a month thank God. TC also thinks JC took him back because the tribal kids get their $3,000 in June so she may have wanted to collect that

The NG transcript was long but interesting to read. I also watched the HLN/NG interview with Jaimee. I found it odd that she would agree to be interviewed the day after her son was found deceased, even if the interview had been previously arranged. However, I do feel a lot of information was learned from that interview that Jaimee was not aware she was providing. The interview transcript is worthwhile reading.

Actually Jaimee did the interview the day BEFORE she found her son.... It was just aired the day after

I know that I am not going to want to hear what happened to Carnel.

But, I will listen, because this child's story needs to be told and heard.

Hear it loud and clear, and do something to help another child in need.

Carnel should have been rescued. He should have been spared the atrocities that happened during his short life. He was a dear, sweet child. He deserved to live the life of a happy little boy.

Maybe another child's life can be spared, because of the beautiful boy Carnel.

Rest in Peace, sweet child. I will be here to listen and to ensure justice is rendered in your case. :(
