Hello: I am a new member andthis is the first time i have posted anything on this site. However, I have been following the discussion daily regarding Chelsea on this site. I live in the Newport area very close to Post/William are (less then 2 miles away). Additionally, my sister in law is Chelsea's Aunt. I have never met Chelsea but regardless it as a mother, sister and member of our community it is very important to me that she is found and returned safely to her family. In the past weeks, i have met Chelsea's mom and two of her sisters and the strength/courage that they have shown and continue to show each day is truly amazing. When you meet them there is no denying this family's unwaivering belief in our Lord.
I have a couple questions: I thought I read somewhere that the family sent emails to all 1500 individuals that were invited to this party? I am wondering with this information, did it also include the individuals name? Additionally, would it be possible to search online for images of each of these guest to see if anyone resembles this composite sketch? I would think most of these people our on Facebook (w/ pictures attached). I am
not on Facebook so I am not really sure how this works. I am also wondering if all the sex offenders in Monroe County and surrounding counties have been reviewed in comparison to the profile sketch. I know there are over 300 offenders just in Monroe, Newport, Rockwood and Milan area. I am sure all of these possibilities have been reviewed but just curious if anyone could confirm this. I was one of the people contacting the party invitees. We contacted each one via FB. We sent each person on the RSVP list a private message on FB. I am fairly certain LE has weeded through this list to see each person's profile. Hope this helps.

^ There isn't enough snow for snowmobiles in southeastern lower Michigan yet, but maybe non-LE searchers can use them as soon as there's been sufficient snowfall. Won't be long now as winter has definitely arrived.

Has further review been completed regarding any individuals who were invited but declined or did not RSVP? Obviously, this individual in the sketch knew about this party somehow.As I mentioned, I live less then 2 miles from Post/Williams Road. I pass by this intersection on a daily basis...and I was unaware that this event had occured. As the night progressed, I am sure there was no way to track who was coming and going. Could an individual w/ ill intent, purposely decline the invitation request, as a way, to shield themselves as a potential suspect? Additionally, have the past years guest/RSVP list been reviewed? Thanks!

Welcome! Thank you so much for joining and pitching in. Your ideas are very sensible, it would seem to me. There's very little information available publicly about how well LE is conducting their investigation. I think this individual may well have been to previous events, like the June concert.

I was responding to an earlier post about which local freeway went towards Chicago. At this time, it's only speculation about where someone might have taken Chelsea. I-75 runs through Monroe, so there is easy access to several major freeways.

There is a WXYZ (Channel 7, Detroit) video posted 12 hours ago. Reporter says that LE will have an update on the case "tomorrow". Does this mean that there will be a presser sometime today? :waitasec: I don't see a date on the video, so I'm not sure when it aired.

ETA: The video link is from Nancy Grace show (HLN) on November 14. I'm not aware of a recent LE update. Has there been one?
