I know Equusearch has been suggested to the family, do not know if it has been followed up. Also was suggested to call John Walsh.

One of the people that had previously been mentioned as "looking just like the sketch" (in the time that there were wild posting and deletions on FB about who it might be) has since changed his FB profile and deleted many of the images that looked similar to the sketch. I'm guessing everyone who looked similar is tired of being accused and I don't blame him for making the change... but is it something I should contact someone about?

My vote would be yes, report it. Let LE sort through whether your info is pertinent. At least they'll have the info and maybe not need it ...instead of need it and not have it.

Thanks for this info. Wow, seems to make the party (sadly) a perfect place to abduct....
LE will have their hands full going over everyone at the party, and perhaps getting any cellphone photos taken.. Wonder if LE has asked for help from state?...
Also, checking surveillance at gas stations and convenience stores (even some distance away) may be helpful, but it's a tedious task...

It was reported that the Michigan State Police were involved early on.

Appears the article may have been updated to include the time. I probably will be away from home tomorrow. Would someone please post an update if you are able to catch the press conference.... thank you!


The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says a press conference is planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday to share additional information.

I'm really disappointed that this case isn't getting more comments and more national coverage. I can't imagine having to deal with the mystery of the unknown in this case.

I am hoping they have a POI and they are watching how they react to the news of the soon to be released explicit video and information .

Actually, this case has gotten a lot of national attention. Both Nancy Grace (HLN) and Dateline (NBC) have addressed Chelsea's disappearance.

This case just seems to be impossible to solve, nobody can identify the man she was last seen with, we don't have a vehicle description, and we don't know the direction they traveled when they left. Even if TES does come, where do you start searching? IMO this is going to take divine intervention to get answers so I'll be praying for that very thing.
