The benefit dinner tonight was a roaring success! When we talked to the girls tonight on the phone they were completely overwhelmed by how successful the event was. They are completely out of wristbands (more coming next week) and went through about half of the tshirts they had ordered. Lots of funds raised to help continue to fund the search for Chelsea/add to the reward.

I've been reading here but haven't really had a lot to add recently sorry ^^;

LE does not seem keen on outside help for whatever reason.

I believe she has already been entered into NAMUS but I am not 100% sure on that.

Someone jogged my memory tonight about a New Orleans case. If after you have gone to local state and FBI and you do not feel much is going forward the family of the New Orleans case marched in front of city hall,sheriff station with signs and got much more action. You can use this if all else fails.

Thank you so much for the update, Kilen! Our hearts are always with you and your family. I am so happy the dinner was successful in community awareness and raising more funds. I am glad I got my wristband earlier today.

Thinking always of all the family and friends.

Great to hear, Kilen. The Brucks look and sound like the nicest sweetest people. Thank you for keeping us posted. I hope the search for Chelsea Bruck makes great progress with LE, more tips and information. It's good to know so many people in the community are committed and following this. I admire your resilience.

From OldSteve's link:

■ An all-day benefit event Sunday at the Trapperz Tavern restaurant in La Salle, where 20% of the bill is to be donated to the search effort for any customers who present a missing-persons flyer about Chelsea Bruck. Reservations are encouraged and can be made by calling 734-241-2222.

Neighbor is a 911 operator in nw ohio. I was talking to her today asking if our police dept has flyers up of Chelsea. She said there are several up in the police dept/municipal building and that they have fielded several calls on the 911 lines regarding the case. She didn't elaborate for obvious reasons but I'm assuming nothing has come from those calls of major significance or we prob would have heard about it by now. I was just glad to hear that people in my area seem to be on the lookout and aware of her disappearance even though we are about 20 miles away.

Sheriff's Department said they had no reason to believe she was harmed and were treating it as a missing person's case. They called off their search. Either they know more info than they offered, or they believe she ran away with someone, or they're just plain <mod snip>.

photos and video from the Halloween party (not much of the guests are seen, unfortunately. Perhaps in the unedited version there was and LE has that?)

Thank you for the video links, I have many screenshot of various guys who have similarities with the sketch, but I don't want to post them here. What should I do? What's stands out also is that you can see most people's faces in the crowd. The majority don't have their faces covered in fact. There a numerous people recording with cell phones and even cameras taking pictures. If they have the uncut video from mutant ninja turtles' concert, it would seem they have a lot faces to look at, and even from the couple of people I noticed with masks on, I noticed one of them without it as well (he happened to have a thin mustache and scruff), even in the short clips provided. LE should make their potential images of suspects public so people can come forward and provide tips. Not one person in either of those videos is whacked out high. Even the guys slam dancing you see standing around later just watching or talking to friends. I doubt anyone would mind having their pictures up considering there is a girl missing. They say that's "me", just as the security guards on LE homepage did. Concert goers could then identify themselves and help identify others. They ought to have a section on their facebook page with every face that could be the POI so they can get more information. It blows my mind that they're sitting on hours and hours of footage, when LE could be generating more leads by showing and asking. Where is the real harm in that, as the potential benefit would out weigh it by far?

I sure could not tell much from the videos, but glad you could, FindHG. I did think that most party-goers were not in costume, nor did they seem particulately drunk or high or whatever. It still perplexes me that more videos or photos have not appeared ....... unless they have gone to LE and they aren't sharing any until they are certain of it being helpful for public viewing. That would be my guess. I do hope LE has an unedited version of these posted videos.

Thanks for having good eyes!

Yes. There is a direct email addy to the sherrif where any and all pics/videos/ info can be emailed. The addy was sent via FB to each invitee on the Halloween bash page. I pray that it yielded some helpful info.
