Hi Kilen,

I've launched the ad campaign on Twitter and sent along an email with the details. Please let me know if there's anything else I can do. If it's okay with you all, I'd be interested to hear what locations people here on Websleuths think may be useful to target. I'll give you all full approval/veto power of course.

You're very kind and gracious to do this. My suggestion, which should only be considered after you've checked with kilen, would be to hit as many colleges, universities, bars, night clubs, in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana as possible, as that is as far as LE is investigating. I so appreciate your good will and generosity. It's a wonderful thing to witness.

With the holidays and black friday around the corner I think Walmart, Target, Meijer, Best Buy, etc.

What about Amazon, Yahoo, or Google shopping sites?

I think the Lamar billboards were really great too, I saw them here in Toledo and as far as Grand Rapids Michigan. A lot of people will be traveling over the next week.

bragi, thank you for being able to help in this way!

Sending more prayers and hope to Chelsea and her family/friends, and all who are concerned about her safety and finding her.

FYI, we're seeing an "engagement rate" of a little over 10% at this time. An "engagement" is when someone clicks on the flier to look at it, retweets the message/flier, or follows the tweeting account. 10% is very, very good in the world of email/twitter advertising.

I hesitate to share actual numbers here on the forum; I just wanted everyone to know that people are seeing the flier.

Airports, bus/subway/train stations. Thanksgiving is the busiest travel season of the year. Unless Monroe County Sheriff has a specific reason for not expanding the search area, after nearly 4 weeks, Chelsea could be anywhere.

Maybe the colleges in toledo like university of toledo and Owens college, maybe bowling green state university and i sure there are others I'm missing. Also maybe some townships or police depts that have twitter accounts that can re tweet it. If you can find those townships and police depts that do use twitter I would cover the ones in michigan, ohio and Indiana maybe? I wish I could help with this but I think I'm the only 29 year old i know without a facebook or twitter

Great!

I know so little about Twitter. Can someone tell me how to find this tweet "thread"? PM me if you think it shouldn't be here. thanks

Probably wouldn't hurt to spread the word in neighboring Ontario, Canada. Fairly easy access to Windsor from Detroit and/or Sarnia from Port Huron. That said, Chelsea probably didn't have ID with her which would have made crossing into Canada difficult.

Can you share the twitter account? I have been reading the thread and just want to say I am more than happy to send out some tweets and retweet fliers, I did a quick search and could only find @find_chelsea but the account has no activity :(

These kind of 3-no cases are the most difficult to solve - but odds are it has to be someone who was at the last party and figured she was vulnerable, no? Who is the man she walked to the parking lot with?

Hi Kilen,

Excellent. If you'd like to draft a short statement I'd be happy to use that. Otherwise I'll come up with something. We can always change it or add different messages to the mix. I know a little about how to write these engagingly -- hopefully it helps.

I'll create a special Twitter user just for this and email you the credentials.

I'm relatively new to WS but I just want you all to know that I am so proud to be even a small speck in this group. It makes me want to cry when I read something like this from a stranger who doesn't know Chelsea but is willing to go out of their way to help her family find her. I know that many of members pray often for these "strangers" (sometimes praying is all I can do), some spend countess hours sleuthing and following up. Thank you all! You're all AMAZING!

What is exceptionally odd to me is that the Sheriff's department called off the search in a very short time. They stated she they had no reason to believe she had been harmed and were treating it as a missing person's case. That would leave them open to liability if she is found in their jurisdiction, to be harmed. Unless they believe she ran away and friends ,family do not want to accept this possibility although many have scolded me for mentioning this. However, i believe if this were the case, there would have been sightings after the Nancy Grace Exposure. Also, we don't know much about her, except what her sister offered- she was the baby of the family, she had no driver's license, her parents drove her to work at Olga's, also very odd for her age. Considering the videos of the party showing her drinking or with alcohol in hand, at a rowdy Heavy Metal gathering.it appears she likes to party. Was there a boyfriend? Were there any drug issues? Did her apparent sheltering by her family create rebellion within her. These are things that wouldn't be mentioned be the family for various reasons-possible denial.

These kind of 3-no cases are the most difficult to solve - but odds are it has to be someone who was at the last party and figured she was vulnerable, no? Who is the man she walked to the parking lot with?

I actually created that account before I found out that Twitter apparently doesn't let brand new accounts run ads, so I had to run it under another account.

I may reach out to Twitter to see if I can get special permission to run the add on the new account.

Thank you so much Braggi, words can not express my gratitude towards you enough.

We've been very busy today after People magazine featured Chelsea on their website.

@ARealist- The way it was explained to me was that LE wanted to focus all their energy on investigating any and all leads. I can't really say more than that.

As for the other questions, I will try to say this succinctly as possible. There is no secret boyfriend, I don't think there has ever been a boyfriend let alone a secret one the cops checked into her computer/phone/social media first thing no evidence of boyfriend. The family is extraordinarily close-knit, there is no way Chelsea has gone this long without talking to anyone from the family of her own freewill. The four sisters were pretty close in age, they talked constantly there were no real secrets between them, they would know if something was happening on the sly. We would not be putting this much time and effort into finding her if we thought she bolted of her own freewill.

Chelsea was not a wild party girl (not that there is anything wrong with that). The wine bottle she was pictured at the party was a prop it was filled with food coloring and it had a big label on it that said poison because she was haha poison ivy. I'm not saying she didn't drink at all but not to excess. There was no drug use. It absolutely would not have been tolerated at my mother-in-law's house. She really wasn't the super rebellious type, she was kind of shy and socially awkward. My in-laws/her parents made her get a job if she wished to continue living at home, she seemed to like her job working at Olga's. Chelsea never got her license, it was my understanding that she was an appallingly bad driver (I know she tried to back her mom's van into the garage but failed to open the garage door first once when the in-laws were visiting) as she could be a bit ditzy/clumsy at times.

Thank you for all the information, and so sad.

Sweet dear stalwart Kilen,

Your sharing this information about the beautiful missing Chelsea Bruck is kind and brave of you, and it breaks my heart that circumstances exist that you feel compelled to share it. So sorry for you and the wonderful family you describe, with their much loved missing daughter and sister tearing at all their hearts. I hope knowing people such as bragi and so many more care and will grow to care as a result is some small measure of reassurance that you will never be alone in pursuit of Chelsea Bruck.
