You're well intended and grasping at straws is the only way to find the right straw, it seems to me. It will take many people doing the same thing you are and foregoing any doubts they have with the courage to seem foolish or wrong but calling in what stands out to them, in order to find who the POI is. It can't hurt to call it in. It easy enough for LE to follow-up through their lines of communication. Thank you for the information.

imo As the press conference has been planned for several days I wold guess it will not disclose any immediate information on the location of Chelsea. It may tell the extent of the search so far which would be very useful.

I have scoured court date records, police reports twitter, you name it and there is nothing to be found. I'm sure it's nothing but, it was so strange to have a dude from Michigan stop at a neighborhood bar that no one has ever seen before and just lose it like that.

This is my first post on Websleuths, so I apologize if the information I share has already been covered. I thought I knew the identity of the gentleman in the police sketch, so I submitted my tip with crimestoppers online. Additionally, I decided to google search the young man's name to see what I could find. I saw that he had an account on MeetMe.com, which appears to be some sort of online dating service. If this young man is a person of interest, which I'm not saying he is, then that could be a clue as to how he may have known or found Chelsea. He also has a Youtube channel where he has subscribed to many music bands similar to that of Pick Axe Preacher, the band that played at the halloween party, so it could just be that he was there for the concert and was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I am from Lenawee County, Michigan, and if I recall correctly there was some incident a few years ago pertaining to sex trafficking at truck stops between the Blissfield, MI and Toledo, OH areas. While this theory may be way out in left-field, it is my opinion that no theory should be left unexplored. As always, all of these comments are JMO and my own speculation.

Was the name deleted because it was incorrect or he was cleared? I ask because it still seems to be a big question and topic of many discussions who the man in the sketch is.

I did the same thing as far as googling the name given of the man in the sketch. It seems a very good possibility that they had seen each other at previous concerts or music events as its been said that CB was an avid fan and went to numerous shows. I wonder if any of her family/friends know if she also had an account on Meet.me as that seems like another possible lead to follow.

You could identify him as a friend of Chelsea so far no one has been able to identify her friends at the party.

Since the name has now been removed from the Find CB FB, does that mean it can no longer be shared here? It is still in the comments section of other family members FB pages that are sharing information about searches, fundraisers etc. I know many on here have asked about the name, and although I'm happy to share what I've read, I don't want to break the rules...especially on my 1st time posting here!

So I created a temporary "MeetMe" account to see what I could dig up. It definitely appears to be a hook up site similar to tinder and the like. I will post my findings as soon as I figure out how to search for people.

Edit: CB does not appear to have an account on MeetMe. Or rather, she is not on sketch guy's friend's list. Sketch guy and CB are also not friends on FB.

First of all a POI has not been named. There is no POI. This could be a friend of Chelsea and we should get his name so it is not lost through the cracks of the internet.

Be careful with the Meet.me site. Although I'm sure you're aware of the dangers associated with "online dating" this site has more of a rep for a quick hook up so to speak and I've heard of numerous situations turning ugly quick. I attended a conference for law enforcement about the dangers/in & outs of numerous popular online sites/Apps. Some have a way of tracking your location through GPS in your electronic devices without your knowledge or permission. Scary, especially as a parent!!! I just wanted to let you know out of concern for safety!

Thanks for the tip, Criminal Justice mom! I deleted my account just to be safe. I only created one to see if sketch guy and CB were friends on there, which they aren't.
