This has been a day with a wide variety of emotions on my part. I managed to decorate the tree and set out a few decorations for the holidays. I cannot believe it is almost Christmas.

All the while, Chelsea has been on my mind. I am not a very artistically gifted person, but I sat down this afternoon with a roll of purple ribbon and wound it into a relatively decent bow attached to white flowered greenery (plastic) and hung it on the front door, where I also have her poster and a purple ribbon card.

Before coming here, I saw a new thread for a young man who went missing around the same time (in Oregon, and much different circumstances). It just breaks my heart so much for these families.

I just want to know ....... where is our Chelsea? What one clue/tip is going to bring her back? When will my heart be calm and happy again? The Bruck family is always in my thoughts. :hug)

Cliff notes on Texas Equusearch- A representative came, he was very helpful he trained people how to search/what to look for etc and helped put in place strategies for future searches. LE needs to approve them actually coming in as a group to help search and for whatever reason I do not believe they received the authorization they needed.

Great to know Kilen. Thank you.

Strange that you mention this. I have said this as an offhand in the past and thought it was just an outlandish thought on my part: "Someday microchips will be routine for newborns." Not an impossible thought any more, is it?

It could be done now, but I'm not sure the GPS function can be embedded in a chip small enough for unnoticeable implant at a cost that is affordable and marketable and GPS is what would be the most important feature of a chip in order to find missing people. If there was a well defined and legal market for them, the technology would be focused on making them and they would be available now, in the necessary size.i believe.. In an open market demand/supply always dictate progress, availablity, quality and price through competition.

I can always remember as children (many years ago!) we were always told to never speak to a stranger, never go with a stranger and to never accept candy from a stranger. I think my childhood days and those of my age group would agree that we lived in a different world than today. Having said that I would want to believe that Chelsea would not have accepted a ride with a stranger, therefore sort of reinforcing my belief that it was someone she knew in some capacity. Sadly, if this is the case, who can one trust?? This must be a nightmare for LE as this case involves the 'cast of thousands'! This party certainly provided a 'masquerade' cover for anyone who intended on carrying out some nefarious act. What a horrible nightmare, as well, for Chelsea's famiy and friends.

TO answer your question "who can one trust" there is only one word. God.

It's easy enough to wear a watch, a pendant, velcro tab, coins, you can guess, with the same, i think maybe

Anybody checked out the FB of what appears to be her best friend's boyfriend? [modsnip] Surely somebody has already pointed this out.

Are there any places to bury the dead nearby? Even an old burial ground could be used. This has beendone in thepast.

Not the same, FindHG. an implantable device could actually track us " at all times". A watch, pendant, etc. could be removed and thrown away leaving no trail to follow. Unless you are meaning something I misunderstood.

I said voluntary a watch wrist band etc would be removed by the abductor before he has a chance to be tracked at any length if it were implanted in an unknown area of the body it would take him quite a lot of time to find it if he even knew that it was there. it's kind of a gamble would you want to be able to be found immediately alive at the risk of the government being able to track you or without the implant find yourself in this situation as we see here no cell phone to track etc.. Of course as I said before it is just an idea which I don't believe has been widely or even partiallyimplemented at this point.

Somebody layed eyes, not high eyes, according to LE, trust worthy, on the POI going toward a car maybe (my guess) or towards the parking lot, thus to the east, maybe of the party. LE is convinced at least, and the Brucks this POI exists. From there on, no reason has come up in the searches to lead anyone to believe the Chelsea met her death around that area. So, it's odd this POI has still not come forward, or anyone who may know him, seen him, suspected him, that there's no news of a positive ID, nor a direction for Texas Equi Search, from Ohio, so local, to focus, IIRC, indicated by LE for them. It could mean any number of things. Whatever it means, I hope they're getting closer to bringing this sister, daughter, friend, devoted fan, kind, sweet, reserved, young lady, by all appearances, home to them, and all the community who is not letting up with fund raisers, outreach, investigative efforts and support.

I've had the thought that cell phones should have a dedicated battery and transmitter that periodically pings cell towers or broadcasts a rough GPS location. Once the phone is off it would still broadcast for months or years afterward. Ideally it'd be waterproof and impact resistant.

I've seen skiers' jackets that have some well sealed avalanche emergency gps signaling chip, but you have to be in range of a some specific system, IIRC

I wish a WS locals knew those roads well. Where may have a young man like the POI, who has yet to say anything, go not to be noticed, from the parking lot area if he had a car? That is, if he may have left with Chelsea Bruck?

Voluntary being the key word...;)

VOLUNTARY, VOLUNTARY...:hills: ;)

I'm thinking a ring or a little top of the ear earring that no one would notice, but could still be removed if desired...

With velcro to attach to your hip, so you wouldn't need pockets. Pet peeve of mine that the cell phones have become so big, they are harder to carry in pockets. But I get your point about being able to locate them when separated from their owner.
