The corn fields MUST be searched, miles upon miles of them. I have been involved in a search before unfortunately it was a suicide(15 year old girl-she has a thread here). But they need better organizations for searches. I'm unsure of the weather there but more searches are needed.

It is now December in the Chelsea search area. She would be in a warm sweater and jeans. Have the homeless shelters been checked? She could be suffering from memory loss. Her ivy clothes and wig could have been left where she changed clothes. A church for example. Have churches been checked? She could be staying with her musical friends. Have all the people of those six bands been checked? The search for Chelsea is just beginning!

Do we know if there are any past behavioral indicators that would reinforce the theory of her taking off? From the characterization I have read it sounds unlikely. However, you are right in that all possibilities should be carefully examined.

This being said, I have the instinct that the relative silence from LE on this case indicates some known factors. Speculation only of course.

I go back to what she was wearing. While grouped in with 600 or so people, she could easily have stayed warm. But when the party broke up, and people started to leave or separate out, she would have gotten cold easily. Anyone could have simply said, "Here, let me grab you a jacket from my car right over here." and that was all she wrote. But what I find strange is that she supposedly called her friend from someone else's phone and said she had hurt her head and nose by walking into a post. Yet in the picture here:

The guy to her left has got a scrape on his HEAD and NOSE. I'm wondering if the person Chelsea called didn't misunderstand her and Chelsea had said someone she was with had walked into a post and cut their head and nose, which then make me suspicious of this guy with the face damage in the picture.

Oh my....wow. Definately someone to talk to....

Looks like he came forward...in the comments below the pic there is a guy (TS), who looks like him, who said he was in the pic.

Now that deer hunting season has ended, searches could safely resume in rural areas. It's cold, but there hasn't been accumulating snow in southern lower Michigan.

This OT, but by contrast, when Morgan Harrington went missing after she existed a concert, this is how the band reacted, a natural decent instinct to give it their all to help. I realize Big Mike's band isn't as popular or well endowed, but the varied response is note worthy. Kind of ironic that a it is the same genre of music which Big Mike even mentions in his interview on their youtube site, a t-shirt found later from the same band Big Mike was covering that night.

Personally, I don't think beating up on (for lack of a proper word/term) Big Mike is going to resolve this case. We have no way of knowing just how freely he has spoken with police, nor how cooperative he is being. I agree that I wish he had more exposure for Chelsea on his websites, but even that could be due to being asked to lay low, or a fear of being bombarded with negative comments. He does appear to make a living off his music (if, as I assume, he is paid for appearances at clubs), and the negativity on his websites could hurt his financial responsibilities. He is allowed to make his living in whatever way he chooses, and we should not interfere with that. Perhaps they post fliers at all their concerts.... I have no way of knowing that. Perhaps he talks to others seeking "clues" and we are not aware of that. There are endless possibilities, both negative and positive that MW could be doing that we are unaware of.

Of course, this is all my own opinion, and who knows what is right or wrong. If he is innocent, we truly should not be focusing just on him or his music. We need to keep our minds and thoughts open to all possibilities.

Seems to me that our focus should be on the sketch, and finding physical evidence through searches (people can search their own properties and their surroundings wherever they are), such as those costume leaves, blood (no indication so far of that, but be aware), any other article of clothing,. The most helpful clues are going to come from legal interviews with every possible person who attended those parties, in my thinking. And we will not be privilege to those. And also, people talking to other people may drop a hint or clue that is valuable, so talking about Chelsea's disappearance with everyone from the area (and beyond) who might attend/know attenders at this type of party ....

I can't help but feel that the number of guests at the party and the fact that it was Halloween with so many in costume is what is hurting our chances, but that hopefully will not be forever.

Did they ever find this girl?

Just a little tidbit about the party host...... He did post a small bit on his personal web page on Oct. 27th about "a young lady went missing from the party".... and went out searching with his dog, who got injured in a trap then. So it seems he wasn't totally silent for an entire week. Please don't take my statements as defending him for not doing more, but we really don't know all he may have done or be doing.

The key to identifying the POI in the sketch is through all and any available witnesses, pictures and video from that night and encouraging those there to submit such available information. I'm not judging these people. The first time it became public that those videos were available was through the press, days later, with Big Mike telling the reporter that he didn't know if LE knew they even existed. That fact, released to the press by him and not provided to LE from day one, and then the lack of public outreach on his site, where his fans are most likely to check for information, for cues on how to respond, because social media is mostly a socially vacuum, where most react to situations based on how others react, seems less than socially responsible to me.

You're right though, I can only go by what I've seen, and there may be more to his level of cooperation. In reviewing, I do recall an email list of his concert goers perhaps being made available to the Brucks for outreach, but I haven't yet found any MSM reports to confirm it.

Corn harvesting generally can go thru mid-November even when it is very cold and since there were not significant accumulations of snow thru now I'm sure that many of the cornfeilds have been covered if not by the search teams, just by farmers.

I posted earlier and asked the question if there were any searches this weekend and no one responded. I guess that is no. Everyone needs to keep searching!

Just because no one responded doesn't necessarily mean that there weren't searches. Maybe no one here knew whether or not there were searches scheduled. That said, I doubt there were searches over the long holiday weekend when there were still hunters in rural areas. Now that hunting season has ended, perhaps search parties can resume their efforts in areas that haven't been covered previously.

I wish there were a public database of pictures from that party that we could search through. I would spend all day looking for the sketch guy. Does anyone know if LE has or is considering making any pictures public and asking the public for help searching / identifying?

How much impact does a reward have in getting someone with information to come forward? The reward is currently more than $17,000 with another fundraiser being held today. Is someone who has knowledge about Chelsea's disappearance or her whereabouts going to deliberately withhold information until the reward is higher when they know how desperate the family is to find their loved one? If I had information about a missing person, I would have reported it to LE regardless of a reward simply because it's the right thing to do. :moo:

SBM.
I don't know about an email of the list, but it is available on the party invite page on Facebook (guest planning to attend, guest not going, and maybe)

The only place I have seen several of the party pics together is on the PickAxe Preacher's facebook pages/photos

Yes, totally with you on a graphic DB, it's the public part that seems to stick. What server can assure, or attempt to tout itself as one that others', unwanteds can't get hold? But a graphic equivalent to tomnod seems worthy to me. Keeps coming up case after case as well as the will to pitch in.

Thank you for taking a look. Maybe Kilen can clear it up for us, though I hate to burden her with having to answer it.

Any guesses at where the stage was, where the black & white plastic divider with the band's logo painted on it stood? Was there an official parking lot they charged the $10 parking fee for not pictured here (taken from MSM above) or did cars just park along the road and attendees pay their fee as they walked in? Any idea where the vendor was stationed? I noticed two cameras propped toward the stage, one handheld in the crowd, where were the other official cameras, floating around or propped somewhere? The basic layout clearly marked publicly may help to jog memories among the crowd there that night.
