In one of her early interviews, Mrs. Bruck said that if she had known there would be 600+ people at the Halloween concert, she would not have allowed Chelsea to go. Chelsea's mother must have learned over the course of the summer between the June and October concerts that there weren't as many people in attendance in June. Does anyone know what attendance was at the summer outdoor music event at the farmhouse?

Not sure about the summer concert, but I think I read they were hoping for maybe 200-300 at the Halloween event. There was no indication they expected 500 or more.

Thanks. Probably the reason that Mrs. Bruck didn't question Chelsea's attending the Halloween concert.

I can't speak for Chelsea, but I would have felt fear and panic if I found myself stranded somewhere without a ride. I recall a few times in my life (I'll be 65 in a couple of weeks) when I couldn't find my ride or thought that I had missed my ride and was :scared: Heart palpitations, sweating, an overall feeling of dread  I don't think that I would have accepted a ride with someone with whom I wasn't acquainted, but who knows what I might have done in a moment of sheer desperation :dunno:

I feel deep down inside she felt comfortable with this person. If she was worried about accepting a ride from this person...I feel she would have found the acquaintance from high school who offered her a ride only moments earlier. I believe she trusted this person (POI) or that once they made their way to the secluded parking lot, he threatened of forced Chelsea into his vehicle.

I would have felt fear & panic if I found yourself stranded at a complete strangers house without a ride...my understanding is that the party host was not a STRANGER to Chelsea...just saying.

Weren't there other people in the parking lot? I thought that the host asked everyone to leave at @3:00AM, so I figured there were others leaving at the same time as Chelsea. I think someone would have noticed a struggle, or Chelsea would have somehow alerted others if she felt threatened. I feel that something happened after she left with the POI, if, in fact, she got into a vehicle with the individual. :moo:

I know that Chelsea had been to the summer event at the farmhouse, but I didn't realize that she was personally acquainted with the host.

Just how acquainted is anyone's guess, but I wouldnt go so far as to say she was at a complete strangers.

Sorry if it seems I'm splitting hairs.

Where is Chelsea Bruck?

Not at all :) I do recall seeing a photo of Chelsea with several other people including someone from the band. I thought it was just a photo op prior to the concert.

She was acquainted enough to offer to help set up for the party or FB comment to BM that she would help but she was trying to finish her costume. I definately feel she knew the band more than just a casual acquaintance, IMO

I tend to hypothesize that she knew him well enough to go willingly. Alternatively, she could have been drugged, docile, and led.

I keep wondering if it means something that she didn't call off the request for a ride home? The friend who came, as a result of that request, ultimately couldn't find Chelsea. It may also have been the reason Chelsea turned down a ride from the HS friend by the bonfire, expecting that ride. So she could have been walking toward the parking lot because she felt safe with the POI, but not necessarily to take a ride without using his phone to call off the ride. She never did that, which seems unusual to me, given the history of her and her friends touching base throughout the night.

If only we knew what took place in those final moments before her disappearance from the parking lot.

I agree about her not intending to ride with him....she may have even felt uncomfortable with him, but figured her ride would soon be there to extricate her from the situation.
Unfortunately, she could have found herself alone with him in the parking lot as other left, and thus vulnerable.
So, this raises the question of whether or not she was specifically supposed to meet her friend in the parking lot.

Hopefully, LE interviewed enough folks to have answers to such questions.

Where was Chelsea going to meet the friend who was going to drive her home? What was said/texted in the various calls that Chelsea made using others' phones? What was Chelsea showing others on her phone at a previous event? So many questions with very few answers made public.

Yes. Exactly, and did the June concert security guy's interest in Chelsea's phone have anything to do with why she didn't want to keep her phone with her at this concert? He wasn't a security guard with an official t shirt at this concert, but I think he was there in the crowd from early in the day.

If I had to guess, Chelsea didn't want to carry her purse around all night and with that many people, I wouldnt blame her, her costume didn't seem to lend itself to holding on to a bunch of "stuff" , particularly her phone. No pockets and a giant jug prop (water with food coloring not alcohol) she probably didn't want the hassle.

The few pictures I have seen of her looks like she might have a camera or a wristlet.

I also think that the idea that LE is able to say there is no connection between Chelsea and the other local girl gone missing, is strange unless there is a specific reason that LE hasn't given
Do they have a POI for the murder of the other young lady?
