If I had to guess, Chelsea didn't want to carry her purse around all night and with that many people, I wouldnt blame her, her costume didn't seem to lend itself to holding on to a bunch of "stuff" , particularly her phone. No pockets and a giant jug prop (water with food coloring not alcohol) she probably didn't want the hassle.

The few pictures I have seen of her looks like she might have a camera or a wristlet.
Did people at the concert have to purchase alcohol/drinks that night? I ask because was she carrying money on her somewhere or was someone else buying her beverages etc. That night?

The article states that he had to close down the party after more than the "intended" number of 500 got closer to 800. Seems I have seen a different amount expected, but nonetheless..... 500 would still be huge.

Weren't there other people in the parking lot? I thought that the host asked everyone to leave at @3:00AM, so I figured there were others leaving at the same time as Chelsea. I think someone would have noticed a struggle, or Chelsea would have somehow alerted others if she felt threatened. I feel that something happened after she left with the POI, if, in fact, she got into a vehicle with the individual. :moo:

According to the party invite page, it was from Oct. 25 to Oct. 26 at 5 am. There may still have been a lot of people at the party. Or no one paid any attention to who was leaving when they were in the parking area? I can imagine this was one of the parties where no one pays much attention to what is going on around them.

Does anyone know if she got alcohol/drinks from others at the party? Did she drink just what was in her travel mug? Did her and her friends come with their own drinks? Since she was seperated from her friends she wouldn't have had access to those drinks if they had brought there own with them to the party....Im wondering if she excepted drinks from others leaving herself open to being slipped something/drugged.

I feel deep down inside she felt comfortable with this person. If she was worried about accepting a ride from this person...I feel she would have found the acquaintance from high school who offered her a ride only moments earlier. I believe she trusted this person (POI) or that once they made their way to the secluded parking lot, he threatened of forced Chelsea into his vehicle.

She had to have told *someone* who was going to drive her home?!

Agree and wonder about her taking a ride.... while not intoxicated, a bit of booze might have altered her judgment, relaxing her guard....

Now if this fellow was a stranger, there on the prowl looking for opportunity to trick a gal into accepting a ride, unless he was very lucky, would think he would tried and failed a few attempts with before connecting...

Okay, seem like I like hearing myself talk, as none of this helps find her, and this case is in need of a break..

You are making an important point Old Steve. Unless he was specifically targeting Chelsea (going back to my theory that this is connected to the Niswender girl), he most likely made some attempts with other women at the party. That is a question that has not yet been posed, AFAIK.

I keep wondering if it means something that she didn't call off the request for a ride home? The friend who came, as a result of that request, ultimately couldn't find Chelsea. It may also have been the reason Chelsea turned down a ride from the HS friend by the bonfire, expecting that ride. So she could have been walking toward the parking lot because she felt safe with the POI, but not necessarily to take a ride without using his phone to call off the ride. She never did that, which seems unusual to me, given the history of her and her friends touching base throughout the night.

Again, I don't believe this to be true. She called a friend but was unable to get in touch with anyone...as it was very late. I remember hearing this also, that a friend arrived to pick her up and could not find her but based on LE's press conference and Kilens response this is not true. She never made contact w/ any friends to arrange a ride home.

I have met several people who know Chelsea personally. It is my understanding that Chelsea and some of her friends followed this band to their events on a regular basis, not only attending parties but actually followed/supported the band as they performed at different venues all over MI. This info comes from a reliable source.

In one of her early interviews, Mrs. Bruck said that if she had known there would be 600+ people at the Halloween concert, she would not have allowed Chelsea to go. Chelsea's mother must have learned over the course of the summer between the June and October concerts that there weren't as many people in attendance in June. Does anyone know what attendance was at the summer outdoor music event at the farmhouse?

Found your out answer about the summer party.

"The video was taken at a party this past June. the Monroe sheriff says 150-200 people were there that night. "

-.-.-.
This is the first I have heard that Chelsea had extra clothes with her:
"She failed to contact her parents or siblings after attending the party. She left her phone and a change of clothes in the trunk of a friend’s car."

I know that Chelsea borrowed a phone quite late into the party, I believe she borrowed it from the girl she spoke to at the bonfire and attempted to contact her friends to get a ride but nobody picked up their phones it would have been quite late at that point.

This is Kilen's response regarding Chelsea calling a friend to come pick her up. I copied this from one of Kilen's post, near the end, of Thread #1.

My question is where did Chelsea get the travel mug that she was seen drinking out of? Did someone provide it to her w/ a warm beverage inside? There is a Pilot Travel Center less then 2 miles from the party that sells mugs very similar to that. If you recall, there was an hour or so that her friends could not find her (per LE's press conference they looked for her for an hour or so to give Chelsea her cell phone). LE also stated that Chelsea was near the bond fire most of the night...I know the party was huge but after an hour or so, I would think her friends would have found her. Could she have rode w/ someone to Pilot (maybe someone offered to pick her up a warm beverage)? I hope that the security camera's were pulled, specifically, at this gas station.

Yep. Plenty of pictures on PAP's public FB even I could see with Chelsea at various events. Indeed, the way BM, in his one interview standing at his door, mentions Chelsea as somebody who'd been to his events with her sisters before, made her sound just like any other fan. That seemed odd to me not based on the any FB images they'd posted on their FB page, but because of the June video. Chelsea Bruck is all over that video, with the inner circle of fans, security guy, et al. At one point, the photographer even zooms in on her and the security guy. She was not just a partier, hanger on to the "scene", she was a genuine and loyal devotee of PAP's, much better known to them it seems than BM inferred. I can understand the distancing after the fact but it contradicts his stand of doing everything he can when his presentation of the facts are disingenuous from the start.

I think I also remembered she was sleeping over a friends house after the party, or am I wrong? This person might have said to her, oh don't worry about your ride, everyone's been drinking tonight so I will just drop you off, it's on my way.

I'm watching ID about a girl that was missing. They find her body and discovered she was not wearing her sneakers. Police held a news conference and immediately asked the public if anyone sees these sneakers (they had the same sneakers that she wore on display) to call them. Someone called and said they saw a pair of sneakers inside the bathrooms at a park.

It was that one clue they were hoping for. That's what we need one clue!

Thanks. I knew that I had read/heard that Mike closed down the party because the crowd got too large. If that's the case, there must have been other attendees leaving at @3:00AM when Chelsea reportedly was seen walking toward the parking area with the POI.

Klynn3,
I'm sure that I speak for others here when I say that I appreciate your thoughtful, informed contributions to the discussion. The family seems pleased with local LE, but have they considered hiring a private investigator? To the best of our knowledge, the sizeable reward hasn't generated successful tips. Chelsea has been missing for more than 10 weeks with no indication that a resolution will be forthcoming anytime soon. Perhaps the case would benefit from a fresh pair of eyes/ears. :moo:

Does anyone who follows the case of the other girl from the area found murdered in her off campus apartment know if by chance she was also a fan/follower of PAP? Asking because maybe there's a connection? Also, I remember early on in that investigation there being speculation of a poisoning. Was the COD ever released?

I don't believe a connection to PAP has ever been mentioned anywhere, so I don't know the answer to your first question.

As to Julia's cause of death:
Officials confirmed Friday that Eastern Michigan University student Julia Niswender was asphyxiated and then placed into the bathtub where she drowned last December in her off-campus apartment in Ypsilanti.
