From the video, around 1:00 into it, you can see a caption with the name of the mom being interviewed. Then I did a search with that name and "Flat Rock, MI".
I was lucky and found a site that has pictures of peoples faces (*hint*), together with their addresses and other information. The picture that was with the address was without question the same person that was being interviewed.

It is practically certain that LE already knows the address. Certainly the have the address of the person arrested, and they probably also have been to his home. Moreover, the newsreporters have also been to his home so they know this as well.

I think HB is a suspect and LE is gathering evidence. Perhaps someone pointed HB out as a person that spoke to Chelsea at the party. This could have been the guy in the sketch (do we really know if he hasn't come forward yet?). Then, as police interviewed him, he came up with the fabricated story. Police found out that he is lying, but they have no proof yet that he has anything to do with her disappearance. So they charge him with lying to police, because that is what they can prove at this point. This is all speculation on my part.

Hmmm I like your thoughts. Not far off from the sketch if he were in "costume". I went back and looked at who "volunteered" to be security at the June and October party. Freaks me out that a handful or more of them are similar to the sketch given...and not far off from what HB looks like. Tried to pinpoint that security guy from the pics above but didn't spend too much time looking into it. I also noticed that one of the bands listed for the halloween party was also listed for the June party....and they are from Carleton, MI.

On a side note, I saw that the party host posted in July looking for people to be in their music video that was being recorded at a local bar. Chelsea and her friend both responded saying they wanted to be in it. Wonder if she really went and who was at that event...I didn't see her on the event, but if she's in the video, chances are she could have been at both?. He posted about that on his personal page but another group set up the actual "event" that people responded to and I don't recall seeing her on the list...but doesn't mean she wasn't there.

I may have already said this but I just cannot get over the fact that the party host, at one point I believe, tried to say he did not know her that well. Maybe I am thinking of the wrong statement, but I thought that is what was said in the video interview. As I have spent time going back through old band events and posts, she comments and posts more than once about how excited she is for the concerts/parties/costume/etc. Maybe they weren't "good friends" but she was someone that clearly enjoyed attending his events more than once. There is also a pic posted with her, other men/women, and band members together and they talk about how great of a night that was. I would feel you wouldn't just say that to someone random, but yet, someone that you have spent time with at events and parties. I know this is just repeating was has already been said but I wonder if HB frequented these events as much as her...or even knew that band that was at multiple parties.

I found an address for mother and son in a mobile park in Carleton, MI (Elm St?). In an archive copy of Monroe Evening News, March 3, 2015, Harlin Bird's address is listed as XXXX Peters St., but in Monroe, MI. Changing the town to Flat Rock of his 4 digit booking address, does bring up the spot searched on Peters Rd, Flat Rock, MI but it is not in the mobile home park. The addresses on Peters Rd., Flat Rock are in the 5 digits. The news seems to list his town as Flat Rock but I haven't found that yet. Still looking!

Great find on the "hero" let's also not forget that this is also the guy that made a point about stating he had Chelsea's blood on his shirt, which has ALWAYS stuck with me since reading it.

I still think that he did that (false report) thinking it would redirect the investigation and/or "explain" why Chelsea's blood was on his shirt!!!

I know he said she bumped into him, but did he ever say at what time that supposedly happened? And do we know what time she had a bloody nose?

I agree with your post. I also think that when he realized Chelsea wasn't going to be found, he claimed he made it all up so it would just go away.

They all look so happy and carefree. Looks like a nice crew actually, despite my disgust for their choice in music.
The young man in the ball cap wrapped around the cheery young blonde woman looks fairly toasted, but perhaps that's just the pic.
The fellow cozied up to Chelsea looks pleasant enough despite his facial injuries. It's so odd that Chelsea injured her face as well. Rather bizarre actually.....can anyone make anything of that? So odd.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. This is a thread with some extraordinary sleuthers on it. One thing comes across loud and clear, as well as on the Niswender thread where many of us dwell as well.....we are very very serious about seeing justice prevail for these two young woman who just so happen to be friends. Many of us have been cutting in to sleep time we are so amped up about these two cases! I think we all feel in our bones, that something very big is about to happen. Let's hope my old bones are right.

Holy smoking guns... you win sleuther of the year with that find. I agree that while he may no longer live near, it's familiar. He might not have known evidence was left behind, and didn't want to be seen there so never went back. His hero facade has now placed him squarely in the crossfires.

I was going to post this... I had hinted in earlier posts about "someone" being related to someone in the trailer park
... but wasn't sure what was considered ok to post as it wasn't his, but his mother's address.
I'm guessing LE is already aware of this.

I had seen a brief news clip where the mother of the guy who was charged with making a false report was standing in her door way Talking. (I'm pretty sure it was said it was his mother.) So, I'm gathering he still lives at home with her from the way she talks about her conversations with him.

As someone else has now posted... I wasn't sure if I could, but it seems that his mother lives in the trailer park just across from where evidence was found. Since we don't know exactly what it was, coold it have been something light enough to have been carried by wind over? Or, as has been said there seems to be alot of trash in the area, could it have been tossed in the trash, but the trash wasn't taken far from the area? This would explain why LE doesn't seem to be concerned with roping off an area as a crime scene. Or, could Chelsea have tried to escape him when he stopped the car "at home" and she ran, not escaping him after all?
His address is listed as something different from hers but I don't think he'd want to give anyone an address that could link him to an area he knows a crime took place at.

I have to admit I'm quite "jealous" of some of your minds and capabilities. I searched for what seemed hours the other day and couldn't find much info on his mother of him, including police documents and addresses. Good job! It's also comforting to know there are people as crazy about these cases as myself.

Someone asked a few pages back about those giant cable spools at the abandoned warehouse, I see wood cable spools being used for tables and in front of makeshift stage in the PAP BM dirty thirty bloody v video. They are used as tables too. I am going back to try and read what's printed on them.
ETA: Sorry if this was already pointed out They say "(something) Co. Service wire". Weren't similar spools noted in the warehouse in flatlands photos? Again sorry if this is old news.
