Also, a Flat Rock woman went missing in early October, but I cannot find anything on the story. I believe she was found but when I search her name, NOTHING comes up...which is weird. She was missing around October 9 and one article I read had her flyer with Chelsea's and the Kalkaska woman. Not saying there is a connection but just remembered the city connection...

A search of her name brings up a recent post (today) on FB. I think she is safe.

I read somewhere in the press that she injured herself (think I remember forehead and bridge of nose mentioned) on a tie down or stake for the tent. I am thinking LE mentioned this and that was why there was blood on her face.

I am still not understanding where some of you found out HB's mother lives in Carleton. All the press reports mention he is from Flat Rock. Just curious.

Search them on http://www.zabasearch.com/ with name and Michigan. You can narrow your search by city after that.

I thought all little gas station stores had cameras now. Hmmm

No they all don't unfortunately Jessica Heeringa was working in one in Michigan and was kidnapped. If cameras were there they might have caught the perp by now and Jessica would have been found.

I hope and pray we find out what has happened to Chelsea and Jessica and catch those responsible.

"sketchy guy" has initials LKZ (real name ZB). Now I am not sure who JG is. I vaguely remember someone with those initials, but I cannot find any friend of HB
with those initials. Is that account still there?

Yes.. although no posts since June I believe. Check it out!

New fundraising events scheduled: (From HFCB)

Friday, May 15 at 7:00pm
Rosie O'Grady's Southgate 14980 Dix Toledo Rd, Southgate, Michigan 48195 (734) 225-7100

reward amount set at $30,000 for Chelsea and has spent so much time & money on flyers, Tshirts, etc for her safe return. We are having a fundraiser here in Southgate at Rosie O'Grady's to help raise more money & simply to gain more support for the Bruck family who desperately need it.

There will also be another fundraiser in Utica with the help of the Singles Chiving in Michigan group AND Chive On Detroit!! So we want everyone to come show their support, whether you're downriver or long distance.

Where do you see this, Spellie? The last entry I can see on the FCBFB site is Mrs. Bruck/Kassie speaking at the press conference after evidence was found near the abandoned warehouse. :waitasec:

I know I've posted here before but the movement has excited me!

I also want to touch on PAP sand the whole music thing. My boyfriend is into that scene (already grilled him,, he knows absolutely nothing ha!) but don't put too much thought into the music and it's sometimes macabre lyrics and sound. It's loud, it's angry, it's hardcore. I'd say compare is to how parents went over hysterics and refused to let their kids listen to the Rolling Stones and other such "devil worshipping" music.. See the pattern forming here?

Hi Rachaellouise,

I understand your point, and in many cases it really applies. However, if you have read the lyrics to the PAP "songs", you might change your mind. Yes, they are underworldish and violent, with unbelievably violent themes towards women. Look at how BM's 30th birthday bash was named, and that should underscore my point. I live in the San Fran bay area, and have been part of the music scene (all genre's) for a long time. I get it. I do want freedom of speech and artistic expression, but I no longer support bands that promote violence against women through their music. Violence against women, even condoning it subtly through music is no longer acceptable to me.
Thank you for allowing me this soap box moment! No disrespect to your viewpoint intended.

Peace & Love from Aunt Roses:drumroll:

I tell my female friends I don't want to hear them whine as long as they are dishing out money for their kids to buy, and further perpetuate a horrific mentality. Related to this case, the people of Monroe have to ask themselves if this is a mentality/lifestyle they want to glorify and support. If they do, that is a free choice, and PAP has every right to be there and offer their music and concerts up. Bottom line, you vote with your pocketbooks.

Last night I did a little research and the only thing I could find in the month prior to LE announcing charges and the false report from Hero was the reward increasing to 30,000. I have not given up and am going to search through the news for Monroe are for any big fires or unusual activity in bodies of water that would draw groups of people in areas usually undisturbed ie..fire fighters, LE, rescue personnel..
I live in Delaware so if anyone closer to Monroe remembers any unusual events in the month of January that would be super helpful.

I would start with the Monroe Evening News...maybe it's just Monroe News now, but anything going on in the county or surrounding areas would likely be reported there. Not sure how far back they archive.

Hi AuntRoses!

I completely understand and thank you for your response. I agree with your point about violence against women, however I don't think PAP (whilst their lyrics are gruesome and not my thing.. More of a cheesy pop boyband in the early 2000s kinda gal) is the connection that a lot of people who may have no idea about the hardcore scene may assume, KWIM?

Basically they're gruesome, macabre and horrible. It's like shock rock, it's to show who's the most "out there" and who can get the biggest reaction (I can't speak for all of the scene but a lot of bands with gruesome and violent lyrics do so IMO). I don't think the perp actually took any of these lyrics literally. It's like the whole Marilyn Manson thing after Columbine, if people have it in them to (unfortunately) kill, they're going to kill.

Hope my rambling makes sense, I just don't want any older websleuthers thinking the whole scene is a bunch of gore glorifying, woman bashing evil doers. Lots of love as always Aunt!
